  1. Great job on the rust. It looks like someone sanded it down to bare metal in preparation for paint and then left it out in the rain.
  2. Sweet looking Tudor Scott. Well done!๐Ÿ‘
  3. Nice. It has an โ€œoriginalโ€ look to it.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. Very nice clean build Thomas!๐Ÿ‘
  5. Great looking T-Bird!๐Ÿ˜Ž
  6. It is Tamiya TS-11 Maroon.
  7. Thanks, they must have been in a box of parts I got somewhere?
  8. Weight on your conscience is not a good thing.
  9. Can someone tell me what these seats are from? They are very flexible, almost like tire material. Are they paintable same as styrene? Thanks, Greg.
  10. I have a few of these gluebombed kits so I started a more radical chop/stretch just for the heck of it. Not sure if Iโ€™ll pursue it to the end?๐Ÿ˜ฌ Thoughts?
  11. This ones got pushed off the bench due to fluctuating interestsโ€ฆbut itโ€™s back now.๐Ÿ˜Ž I got the roof attached and blended in, and a rough start on the interior. I had removed all the X-members from the frame so had to make new ones. They have a curve to them so I temporarily glued oversized strips in place, then coated the original frame with a sharpie and filed the X-members down until the sharpie disappeared. Then I drilled holes for .040โ€ styrene pins so I could relocate everything back where it was, disassembled it, drilled all my holes for exhaust and lightening. Reassembled and glued all the joints. I still have to figure out a suspension after I find some suitable wheels and tires. Thanks for lookin. All comments welcome.
  12. Coming along nicely. Hopefully the wing covers the extra holes?๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  13. Nice start. You canโ€™t go wrong with burgundy and whiteโ€ฆit looks great on anything.๐Ÿ™‚
  14. Excellent video! Thanks for the link.๐Ÿ™‚
  15. Cool! I recently started fiddling with one of these. Yours is looking good and I like your assembly fixtures!๐Ÿ˜Ž
  16. Looks good๐Ÿ‘โ€ฆ.needs just a tad more lift to run those tires in my mind.๐Ÿ™‚
  17. Full strength. It wonโ€™t damage styrene or the resin that I have cast. I have used brake fluid a couple of times as a last resort on styrene and luckily had no issues.
  18. Sweet looking Cobra!๐Ÿ˜Ž
  19. Super nice work!๐Ÿ˜Ž
  20. Great work on researching this one and it shows in the authentic look of the finished model.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž
  21. I agree the paint looks great. It should be a right fine looking model when assembled.๐Ÿ‘
  22. Unfortunately John the builder hasnโ€™t been on here since 2017. Too bad because this is an awesome creation! I hope he is well.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  23. You could chuck a piece of evergreen in a drill or lathe and use a razor saw and triangle file to shape some? What is the approximate diameter you need?
  24. Thanks for all the compliments Fellas!๐Ÿ™‚ They are beautiful cars and now I think I did it justice.
