Prison can separate people into various colors just like light through a prism?

What did you see on the road today?

Nice work on the trunk divider and trans tunnel.π Iβm liking what I see so far!π

And we have some colorβ¦.LP-42 Mica Red. It looks a bit orange to me. I hope the red interior will look ok with it. Iβm wondering now if I should have done the grill and corner vents metallic grey also instead of SG black? π§

Got the wheels and tires installed and the poseable steering works again.π Also got the side blades painted. Once I get them masked I will spray the rest of the body.

Yoda sounds like a pet name for your Toyota.

That comes from being a sucker for glue-bombs.π€ͺ

Trains like that I would think would need more than 660 horsepower?π³

And I got the body primed and the interior completed. I am not sticking with any stock color schemes.

Somehow during my disassembly and reassembly the engine location seems to have shifted slightly causing the intake shroud to not line up with the opening for it.π I didnβt realize it until I had the engine glued solidly in place.π³ So I am taking the easy way out and eliminating the mounting pins for the shroud. I will glue it flat on top of the intake tubes after the body is mounted. Very little of the engine is visible after it is in place anyways.π§

Thanks Guys. It worked better than I hoped.π

Shortly after getting my H, I ditched the allen head set screw and put a short 8-32 machine screw in its place and kept a stubby Robertson screwdriver handy in the booth. Yesterday I went to HD and picked up a brass female thumbscrew since they didnβt have males.π I added an 8-32 machine screw with a drop of red locktite and cut it to length. No more tools required now to install or change nozzles.π

Thanks for the tip Noel. I rarely need more light. That was just a quick and easy way to get a bit extra for a particular fiddly little task. I thought it might be helpful to folks who might not have an abundance of lighting.

Thanks for that link Chris.πI was unaware of them.

Today we are dog-sitting a neighbours 13 year old chocolate lab named Lucy. She doesnβt see well and is scared of hard flooring. She fretted when her owner left for a while. Then paced around panting, but her tail never stopped wagging. After an hour she settled down nicely. She knows my wife well as βthe cookie ladyβ.

How do you decide what type of paint to use?
NOBLNG replied to Bill Anderson's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I use lacquer thinner to clean the airbrush for all paints. It doesnβt work well for Vallejo paints though so I use windshield washer fluid for them.
