  1. Thank you Keith, Rex, Larry and Carl.
  2. The pipes had to stay because the clips that hold it together are behind them. So they would visible if the pipes were taken off.
  3. Bought this built at a garage sale. Had decals on it. The interior was gray as where the wheels. Came out decent. I didn’t remember these having much chrome trim on them. Like the windows just had black rubber around them.
  4. Nice Tom. About the same in central NY. A few rainy spells between periods of sun.
  5. That sucks. If he has an issue with you. He should be upfront. You gave him a second chance. He blew it.
  6. Yes. I agree Slusher. And the pup his friend took. Their night be problems in the future. Sounds like too much breeding going on there.
  7. Was this at the Chadwick NY show today?
  8. Love the Lincolns.
  9. I had this kit and I agree. They are the two piece right?
  10. Picked these up today at the Spring Thaw Show in Chadwick, New York today. And a couple of the cars entered in the show looked like cars I've seen on the forum. A real nice Cutlass El Camino build. Nice show and swap meet.

    40 ford

    Nice job on the weathering.
  12. Cool pic. I'm not that talented to build a heater. LOL. I do have stuff for the wall and such. Just a fun background for the photos.
  13. Hey Randy. I'm finding Facebook Marketplace is as crazy as Craig's list. I might just leave them in the basement and let someone else worry about them when I'm gone.LOL. I had an experience with Ebay from a bad seller. I had purchased the same item twice over the years. Dishwasher racks. The first one was just as described. New in the box. 2 years later I had to replace it as my water is horrible and it was getting rusty. So I buy another from the same seller. When I got it, I opened the box and found a broken wheel. Several cuts into the vinyl. The sides were bowed in. So I complained to them and ended up having PayPal step in. Their responses were I did the damage myself because I didn't want it after I bought it. Nonsense. PayPal got all my money back. Never bought from them again. Now to their defense they might not have known what was in the box as my sister has been in their store in Syracuse and they get pallets of items at auctions that were returned items.
  14. I know they aren't worth much and time to let go. I'm going to try Facebook Marketplace to see how that goes thinking if someone was close enough to pick them up. They might sell. I've never delved into Ebay as I know people who have and they've gotten burnt. Honest people burnt by dishonest buyers. I was thinking about putting some old kits I have. 61 and 62 Lincolns. 67,68,69 Chevys, on ebay as they seem to bring good money.
  15. Great build.
  16. I found another place called MK Modelcar Parts. The prices are good. I’m just having a hard time with their website placing the order.
  17. Patrick. I didn’t allow my brothers and sisters to even look at my matchbox cars. If they did they got the evil eye. They only got into the models after I left at 16. My one brother trade my Pramda Buick for a GI Joe during that time period. I childhood friend gave me the Buick. I felt bad not knowing where it ever went. No one confessed to where it went until about 10 years ago.
  18. Retirement is great. You will have. Hard time getting everything done now. The days fly by.
  19. Nice buy Snake. Can’t wait to see it afte it’s been Snake-foo-ed
  20. Nice build.
  21. I just checked Ebay and you are right. Zero. They don't sell. I'll try Facebook Marketplace to see if I can get rid of them for something. If not then I'll leave them in the basement.
