The pipes had to stay because the clips that hold it together are behind them. So they would visible if the pipes were taken off.

Bought this built at a garage sale. Had decals on it. The interior was gray as where the wheels. Came out decent. I didn’t remember these having much chrome trim on them. Like the windows just had black rubber around them.

Picked these up today at the Spring Thaw Show in Chadwick, New York today. And a couple of the cars entered in the show looked like cars I've seen on the forum. A real nice Cutlass El Camino build. Nice show and swap meet.
