  1. I was going through the old collection and I found these. Two general aviation aircraft in need of restoration. Pretty sure they're a Piper Cherokee and Cessna Skyhawk, but not 100% sure about that. Can anyone tell me what they are and who made them? I have some more pics if needed. TIA
  2. Here’s one for Memorial Day So lay me down In that open field out on the edge of town And know my soul Is where my momma always prayed That it would go
  3. Saw this beautiful beast on I81. The truck and it's owner (Chuck Timbrook) are kinda popular 'round here. They've been to many shows, parades, and fests.
  4. Hows about this Corvette limo? Or this PAL-V Liberty? (It does actually fly)
  5. Sausage and cheese meatball thingies. Not exactly sure what to call 'em, but they sure were good. Pretty easy to make, too. 1 lb sausage meat 1 cup baking/biscuit mix (Bisquick) 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 tsp garlic powder Mix it all together, form mixture into balls, bake at 375° for 15 minutes, enjoy.
  6. Found this on the side of the road while taking the dog for a walk. It's been sitting there for a while, so I don't think anyone will go looking for it. I think it's from a Ford E Series van?
  7. How did I not know about this until now? Thanks for the link, Snake. Now I have something to do while I wait for paint and glue to dry ?
  8. That is very true, Pete. IMHO, anything can be “Pro built”. But, if someone has some evidential proof of the item’s success, that’s a little different.
  9. Got it. This one might not be as easy as it seems...
  10. Welcome aboard, Mike. Thank you for your service.
  11. Welcome aboard, Jack. Can’t wait to see some of your builds.
  12. Yup, you’re right! That’s actually why I thought about the Peels ? Ahh yes, the good old days ?
  13. Well, here it is. My very first build that's bigger that 1/24 scale. This is the LEGO Technic series Bugatti Chiron. Overall, this was/is a very well done LEGO set. The chassis is made completely of technic pieces, as well as the body panels (well, most of them). It has a true-to-real-life AWD drivetrain setup, upholstered interior, working suspension, W16 engine with working pistons, and even brakes. Everything on this car was done to the best of my ability. 3599 pieces and 22 hours and 25 minutes later, here is the finished build. I don't want to put too many pictures in one post, so there are more pictures below these ones.
  14. This just might be my favorite Pink Floyd cover that I know of. Here’s a good song to listen to on a cold, rainy day. The Melodicka Bros have a cover series called Way Too...(Happy, Sad, Etc.), which is pretty much the opposite feel of the original song.
  15. Missing styrene. Specifically the pack of styrene rod that I had that seems to have disappeared. I’ve been looking for it for the past few days, but I have no clue where it got to.
  16. Peel Trident (first pic) and Peel P50 (second pic). Two very small automobiles. The Trident was actually the world’s smallest production car for a while.
  17. Fried pork chops with a side of green beans and a slice of bread with apple butter on it. Accompanied by an iced sweet tea.
  18. I’m so sorry! Uhh, quick, think of a different song! ? It is a very easy song to get stuck in the head. The song is Summer Paradise by Simple Plan.
  19. Alright, one more...for now ? ‘Cause I remember every sunset I remember every word you said We were never gonna say goodbye Singing la-ta-ta-ta-ta
  20. Here’s another one: And we leave it all behind Can’t you see we need some time? And we all sit around the fire We feel a little warmer now And we all sit around the fire We feel so much better now
  21. You are correct! The song is called Runaway Train by Soul Asylum. It was pretty high up on the charts when it was released. It even topped the Canada Top Singles chart for a bit in 1993-94.
