  1. That is one cool ride. So sleek and elegant looking. Nicely done, Steve.
  2. Awesome Mustang, Jim. The decals look cool with that body color.
  3. Looks very familiar, but I can’t quite identify what it is.
  4. Roy, I have made significant progress since my last update, but, due to me taking some time away from the bench to sort some things out, I don’t have it under glass just yet. But, now that I’m able to get back to building, I should have another update up soon - probably even tonight. The Mach 1 should be under glass by Thursday. My greatest apologies to all involved in this community build project. I had every intention to finish my participating build on time, but was unfortunately unable to due to another part of my life getting in the way. It appears that all the other participants got their builds finished on time, and they look amazing. If I organize or participate in another CBP, I will get my build done in a timely fashion.
  5. How about something from the early 2010s? There is a song You’re trembling to its tune At the request of the moon Licking her chops She looks at the lunatics She needs another fix
  6. Now there’s a song I haven’t heard in a while. Long Line of Cars by Cake.
  7. Is it ok to try to bring back a stalled thread? How about these lyrics: You know she likes the lights At night on the neon Broadway signs She don’t really mind It’s only love she hoped to find
  8. That was a good one ? Oh yes, plenty of fowl play at hand.
  9. I saw this while browsing the Hemmings classifieds. The article says that it’s the original concept car from back then. Unique looking T-Bird, that’s for sure. Link to the Hemmings article here.
  10. Neat ol’ Dodge. Nice work on the rusting/weathering.
  11. Wonderful news! Thanks for the update, Tom!
  12. Went to feed the chickens this morning and found this. Looks like that crazy storm that went through the area last night blew a decent sized branch down. The pleasing part is that it didn't land on the henhouse or the fence, and we still have all of our hens. And now they're using the branch as one big jungle gym ?
  13. Beautiful build, Randy. Nice work on the flatbed.
  14. Nice Bullitt, Craig. Very well done.
  15. Sharp looking Shelby. Looks great in that color combo ?
  16. Very cool build project. Looking forward to the next update.
  17. Excellent tutorial, JC. This will certainly come in handy for some of my upcoming builds.
  18. Exactly the information I was after. Thanks much.
  19. Welcome aboard, Jon.
  20. Thank all of you for the information. Pete, do you happen to know if Sharpie would run if coated with Future Floor Polish/Pledge Revive it?
  21. I was looking for gel pens at Staples today, and I found these fine tip Sharpie pens. Would they work for pinstriping and fine detailing, or would they mess with the paint? Thanks in advance.
  22. Not sure if this belongs here or in the diecast section, but I found this miniature of the first Hess truck at an antique market today. I'm a bit of a Hess truck collector, so this was a nice addition to the collection.
  23. Got some supplies at Hobby Lobby today. Flat White acrylic craft paint, some Sharpies, more #11 Exacto blades, bsi super glue accelerator, fine tip brushes, and new sprue cutters. I also found this at an antique market - a factory sealed AMT Mark Martin T-bird.
  24. Got some styrene rod, red paint, and some Pony Bead Lacing to try for radiator hoses.
