  1. Man, that is one impressive truck! Love the weathering and powertrain. I bet it turns all the heads at the local cruise-ins ?
  2. Nice job turning a “disaster” into something “delightful”. Looks great!
  3. Nice paint work and nice weathering! Looks great for a first-time completed build.
  4. Very nice build! Amazing detail and paint work - shiny, but not too showcar-y. What’s the 1/4 mile time? ?
  5. Cool lookin Pro Street! Nice color combo.
  6. Looks great, Bill! Nice detail work!
  7. Looks great! I like the “personality” that it has. Nice color choice!
  8. Nice build! I might have to add one of these to my kit stash someday.
  9. Is that a model car or the real one? ? Very nice work on this build! Looks amazing!
  10. We saw some cloud iridescence today! It's kinda neat to see a rainbow streak in the middle of a blue sky. Oh, and I got to try the new Spicy Chicken Nuggets from Wendy's ?
  11. Ahh, FedEx. A few months ago I ordered a bass guitar and amp from Fender, and FedEx was the courier (or carrier?). The bass arrived a few days after it was scheduled to, and the amp arrived 2 weeks later than the bass. Both were supposed to arrive at about the same time.
  12. I started off using my real name as my username, but about 2 years ago I had it changed to what it is now. My friends started calling me “Hotrod” when I first got into racing, and 97 is the year of my race truck (1997). And, since I was somewhere almost every weekend during the racing season at the time, Hotrod 97 seemed applicable.
  13. Pretty impressive. Nice to see the 572 under the hood.
  14. Saw a Yellow Lamborghini Urus on I-81. First one I’ve seen around here. I couldn’t take any pics, but it looked like this.
  15. Truly a top notch diorama, Charles. It really tells a story, even just from the pictures. Amazing job on the weathering.
  16. Nice build! Excellent scratchbuilding work, and nice job on the weathering.
  17. Awesome build! Nice job on the scratchbuilding. Very unique, in a very good way!
  18. That’s a cool lil’ scooter ya got there! Nicely detailed for as tiny as it is.
  19. Looks great, Ray! Nice color choice.
  20. Yesterday, not today. My Dad and I went to the Carlisle Truck Show yesterday, and we got some stuff for the F150/project truck/I-really-need-a-name-for-that-thing. We found some nice seats. The current ones are so worn and torn that it feels like you're sitting at a 45-degree angle. These seats are from a Dodge Dakota, but they're almost the same dimensions as the stock seats. And, we found a lower-mileage 4.6 from an '03 LTD/Crown Vic. The seller was asking a really decent price for what it was, so naturally we couldn't pass it up.
  21. Had a great time at the Carlisle Truck Show yesterday. Saw some neat rides, and we got some stuff for the project truck. Also, I’m finally learning how to drive a manual. I’ve been doing well, according to my co-pilot.
  22. Boy, the forum sure looks different from the last time I was here. I kinda like it ? Anyways, for those of you who don’t already know, I took some time away to focus on other areas of my life. During my absence: I downsized my model kit collection to the ones that I actually intend on building ? I did keep the built ones, though. I started tinkering around with a few full-scale projects - mostly trucks and SUVs. My 1997 Ford F-150 got a frame-off restoration. Well, only the frame got restored, but it was still a frame-off. It also turned into the new “father-son project car”. And, I think I shared this with you already, but I got a 2008 Ford Escape. Anyways, that’s me. How have y’all been? Did I miss any important happenings?
  23. Thank you all very much for the information and suggestions. Very much appreciated. After doing a bit more research and going to a few music stores, I have decided on a Fender Player Presicion and Rumble 100 amp. My ears liked that combination, my wallet? Not so much ? But, I’m pleased with what I decided on. I’ll get some pictures for y’all this week.
  24. I have some model kits that I’m looking to pass on. Some are still factory sealed, some are open and complete, and some are missing some parts. I’m not really looking to trade them, I’m more looking to sell them. Since there is no selling on these forums, any suggestions on how to unload these kits? Thanks in advance
  25. Couldn’t get a pic, so I found one on the ‘web. A black Land Rover Range Rover Velar. First one I’ve seen in person.
