Here are links to 3 popular resin exposure test files and how to use them. 1. https://siraya.tech/pages/siraya-tech-test-model There you will find the file to download and an explanation of how to use it and how to interpret the results. 2. https://3dprinterly.com/how-to-calibrate-resin-3d-prints-testing-for-resin-exposure/ Here you will find a download and explanation of the XP resin validation file. Also has info for Anycubic printers. 3. https://ameralabs.com/blog/town-calibration-part/ Another file with good explanation. I hope this is helpful to new resin printer users.

I would like to list a few tips that I have gathered over the last few months of resin printer ownership. 1) Make sure your build plate is level. It doesn't have to be checked after every print, but definitely check it If you start having print failures. 2) Dial in your exposure time. Too little exposure can cause your part to separate from the supports during printing. Too much exposure can cause loss of detail and part fitment issues due to the part being bigger than designed. Too much exposure can also make support removal difficult. I will post links to 3 popular exposure files when I can get to a PC. 3) Temperature is important. Resin does not like cold temps. Most of the resin manufacturers give a temperature range for their products. Lots of people put their printers in an enclosure with a small space heater if they have to print in a cold space. Sitting the bottle of resin in a pan of hot tap water for a few minutes also helps. 4) Clean and cure your parts per the resin manufacturer's recommendations, if they provide any. I mostly use Siraya Tech resins. They provide a lot of useful information on all of their resins on their website as well as their Facebook group. 5) If you use Facebook, join the group for your printer. Their will be lots of knowledgeable people to help with most any problem you may run into. Also join a group for your chosen resin. Again, lots of knowledge. 6) Be safe. At the very least wear gloves and safety glasses. The above tips are just the basics I can come up with at the moment. I've only been printing for approximately 6 months and these tips have been very helpful to me.

Even though this question isn't directed at me, I figured I would throw my 2 cents in. I've tried many different resins, and my go-to resin for everyday stuff is Siraya Tech Fast ABS-like Grey. With a mono screen your exposure time will be somewhere around 2 seconds. I've used the Anycubic above and liked it, especially for the price. I've used Elegoo water washable and I never could get it to feel like it was clean. Could very well be my cleaning method as I didn't have a wash and cure station at that time. Creality standard resin worked okay also. But now that I have tried the Siraya Tech Fast I don't feel the need to try anything else unless it's for a specific reason. I do have some Resione F69 waiting to be used for tires.

Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K 3D Printer
stinkybritches replied to MrObsessive's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Just be careful with resin 3d printers, they multiply like rabbits. I bought my first this past August and now there is a second one next to it. -
I guess I know what I'll be watching this weekend.

I use a ResMed AirSense 10.

I've used one for about 3 years. It took me 2-3 weeks to get used to it. I can't sleep without it now. Besides the obvious benefit of keeping my airway open throughout the night, I no longer have to deal with acid reflux, getting up multiple times to go to the bathroom, and waking up every day with a stiff neck. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that I don't have any extra energy from a decent nights sleep. I use the mask that covers my nose and mouth.

I like that version better than the Mark Wahlberg/Edward Norton remake.

I agree.

Got a Qidi Tech I-box mono 3d printer. I've had a Creality Halot One for a few months, but the small build plate was frustrating me. The 8.9 inch screen on the I-box seems huge compared to the 6 inch screen on the Halot One.

*Revell's Hot Wheels Ford Monster Truck*
stinkybritches replied to Zippi's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I bought one for my 3 year old son that loves Hot Wheels and monster trucks, but it's just going to sit until he is old enough to build it with me. It's a heavy box. HPi Guy has a build up on his youtube channel. Looks decent to me. -

Top notch as usual. Great looking build. -
I don't have any idea which issue it was, I just remember that the album had a black label with the dog and the gramophone.

As a child growing up in the late 70s, I would dig out my parents Elvis Presley Christmas album. It's not Christmas until I've heard Blue Christmas. I need to find that album again.

Which Elegoo printer is that? I impulse purchased a Creality Halot One a few months ago. One of the few impulse buys that I didn't immediately regret. I'm already looking to upgrade to a model with a bigger build plate.
