  1. There are some incredible cars in this list but I have to admit I've always been just a little off the beating path and rather simplistic. My favorite car and dream car since I was young has always been a 69 or 70 Cougar Eliminator, black with a red interior.
  2. It’s not something I would do but overall not bad... I would get rid of the spoiler and get the wheels back under it so those flares could go but definitely one of the better customs like that I’ve seen....
  3. Ok so that means it’s most likely a 390 or a 428.... I have the CJ428 decal for the hood to go with the Eliminator strips so I guess if I want to use the hood stripe it will become a 428 if I decide not to use the stripe I’ll put the 302 in it.... thanks guys....
  4. That would probably be a good guess.... it would make sense...
  5. It does look like it could be a big block the intake is rather wide
  6. I think my biggest problem with resin and correct me if I'm wrong but when you get a resin body you have no chassis and so forth for it. I like you screen name, if I get it right your a Mark Martin fan, I have been for a looonnggg time...
  7. I’m working on a 69 Cougar that has a Boss 302 optional engine but it doesn’t say what the other one is? This is the kit, the left one is the Boss
  8. Wow that sucks, I've never even worked with a resin kit so I'm not sure that's a road I want to travel
  9. At one time in the 90's I built nothing but NASCAR kits and now that I'm back into building I pretty much lost interest in them, however I did think it would be cool to build one of the Mustang cars and maybe a Camaro but I haven't been able to locate one. So now I'm curious did I miss something or are they not making the modern cars in kits?
  10. Thank you.... Some realyy nice scores there, I like that Johan Caddy...
  11. Picked these up today (not my pics) off the Facebook market place, both are complete and untouched. Picked them up for $30
  12. Nice!!! I've built that one and the Scooby car both were fun builds.... I have the Tom and Jerry\Dexter car and haven't gotten to building it yet....
  13. I generally paint mine to match the rest of the interior the only exception I can think of is many years ago I did a van that I put carpet in and I also carpeted the inside of the roof...
  14. I ordered some clear epoxy, hopefully it won't yellow to much. I guess if it gets to bad I can paint then with my molotow pen that would look better then yellow or not there at all....
  15. I agree, I’ve even used it on the dash in my car and truck. My car 6 years ago and my truck about 10 and neither have yellowed at all.....
  16. Interesting, I have a bigger version of that in the garage, I'll have to look for the smaller one...
  17. ok, thanks I'll have to look for a smaller bit lol....
  18. The press I have is holding the bit I have fine I have no clue what size it is but measured with my caliper it's .0375 I need to buy a really small set of bit I think because I'm not sure if mine is small enough. This press I've had for quite a long time but like I said never used because I had another and it really has no wobble at all thankfully.. You said you used a #78 bit if you measure that with a caliper what size would it be, I cant read any markings on mine so I'm not sure what size it is but with the caliper it is like I said above .0375, I like the guide idea I'm going to have to work on something like that....
