  1. Had a pair of good trades with DrKerry, would trade with him again...
  2. I seem to get Revell or AMT the most, they seem to have the stuff I like but I do have several Johan kits also.....
  3. Ok thanks, Itsee what I can find here locally..
  4. Thanks for the info Ron, if yours isn’t to strong right on the back of the booth maybe I just need to move mine there... I like the paper idea too and I’ll have to look for bulk filter like that, if you have any info on it that would be great!!!!
  5. Thank you, years ago when I painted cars down draft booths were the way to go so it kind of stuck with me, works really well with the filter in the bottom like that I'm getting almost no over spray in the hose just fumes. The fan I ended up getting is a 270 CFM so the fan is 10 foot away from the box and still has good suction, I think I may move it a little closer though I think I want just a little more than I'm getting. It was cheap the fan was 30 and I had most everything else already but totes are cheap...
  6. I like the Goldberg reference so I’ll probably be using it now lol
  7. I’m 52 and had never heard the first one but my coworker knew it and he is 2 years younger than me and explained it to me lol... your very right though you never know from generation to generation what means what...
  8. I'll take that as compliment also, thanks.... I'm a big fan of using stuff you already have when possible, The only expense I really had was the fan.....
  9. Yeah I did the research, I don’t want any mishaps...
  10. First paint job in the booth is done!!! Booth works great may do a few tweaks like some kind of light but pretty satisfied with the out come. Caution!!! please excuse the mess the other half of my basement is storage......
  11. I have to admit that’s something that never crossed my mind but it’s there now and there to stay...
  12. I'm not an electrician but I don't see any reason why not, as long as your out current is 12v I would think it would be fine as long as the watts are high enough for the fan
  13. Yeah I was checking them out when I started researching for this project and found out the yellow wires are all 12v... l was thinking about using computer fans because I had some and they are noncumbustible too, I was just worried the cfm would’ve been to low
  14. I think just 12V but if you find an old PC power supply you can run it off of that, the put out 3V 5V and 12V I believe it is....
  15. I thought that may be the case and I had planned to put the fan right in the box but I think I may put it at the discharge end to help combat that....
  16. I want it!!!!! I have the hardtop and the nomad, then I would have a set....
  17. I started my booth, I'm going to attach these 2 totes, use the lower one to put the filter in and the fan in the side and mount the power supply on the outside of it and use a 4" dryer vent to go out the window. I'm looking at bilge fans now to decide which one to get, I'm leaning to a 4" 240 cfm one I saw....
  18. I use nothing but 3M blue masking tape, I don't know if it's the best but I've always gotten good results out of it and think it's easy to work with...
  19. Our Babies, the white ones are Buddy and Holly the other 2 are Benji (black and gray) and Josie (calico). They are 2 sets of sibling rescues....
  20. That sucks, he was a fantastic artist, I’ll miss his NASCAR drawings......
  21. It's Dupli-color Metal Specks Ocean Blue
  22. Had a good trade with Classicgas, good trader with trade again....
  23. SCRWDRVR of course is Screwdriver with no vowels but most people think it's for the tool or drink but both are wrong. A while back I was pretty active in a truck club and I own a 2005 F150 Supercrew that's lifted and other things. In the clubs they call the Supercrew a Screw for short so I'm a Screw driver.....
