I tried it many moons ago and went back to orange, unless they have changed it since then I never thought it was very good, just didn't stick as well...
Thanks, I've owned dark colored cars I know what you mean. I used to have a burgundy F150 I showed, the dark color bite with dust but I've learned the lite colors bite too with tar and such... can't win either way... lol
Finally after more than 10 years sitting in a box and several before that sitting in a case incomplete, I have finally finished my 1\16th scale 55 Bel Air
I like it!!! Love the color... I have a 1\16th scale Nomad I have yet to start on. I have always been a fan of the Nomads I'll enjoy following this, I like the tracking cost also...
I know plug wires should be from .011 to .016 on 1\25 but was thinking of adding battery cables and maybe making my own radiator hoses. I thought I saw a chart that had the sizes but can't seem to find it anywhere. Anybody have a list of what they should be for 1\24 1\25 scale and maybe 1\16?
I have to agree with you 100% I've only been a member here since December and have traded with several people here with no issues, great communication and always what I wanted. I have to extend those accolades as well, it's very much deserved....
That’s pretty cool and interesting, I have the Darrell Watrip Pepsi car that came in a combo with the one you posted which I built years ago do they have the card for the Pepsi car In there?
I have that kit built without the dents but seems to me I remember when he raced that car it looked more like yours after most races.... LOL... Awesome job!!
Thanks guys, I think I will just do them by hand, I did cars for years but can see the issues stated and from that experience. It's probably best to just leave well enough alone...
I recently got a rotatory tool that has variable speed and I want to use it for polishing my paint jobs which I have always done by hand in the past.
So I'm curious to see what and how everyone else does theirs.
This is what I have and I'm not sure what polish I'm going to use with it...
