  2. i made this from a a 70 gtx front and back end i cut down to mearge with the center of the body of a 78 dodge monaco sedan i scratch made the the hood and tail lights and the door handles i got from my friend tom geiger they are from fireball modelworks it was a very hard conversion and i wish there was not a twist in the body i tried to match up the shape lines so when i cut away the front and back end parts from the monaco body they would be the same shape lines that the 70 gtx parts have but the hardest part was rejoining the two halfs of the gtx parts after cutting down to make them work with a 1/25th scale monaco body i originally was going to put a 440 in it but i cut to much of the firewall away and trying to get the engin to line up and fit was impossible so i just glued the scratch made hood down i also modded a 70 gtx dash to look like a normal satellite dash other than those issues i do still like this model and i learned stuff while working on it that i an use later

  13. this is a what if dodge had not discontinued the demon and kept it going as a option for the standard dodge dart sport line and kept the 71/72 grille and hood design the front end parts are resin casted parts and the hood is from the 70 dodge dart hemi hunter model i cut to fit the 75/76 dart sport body as best as i could it laid flat nicely before i had added the resin front end parts

  15. i got 3 models kits at hobby lobby in niles ohio today a 67 shelby gt-350 kit wich was now 17.99 though someone had opened the the kit and stuck it back on the shelf i checked it at the chas register in front of the cashier to mke sures everything was there before i bought it it was complete and i got a bandai 1/72 scale star wars tie fighter set which was now 5.99 and a revell ww2 waterline uss missouri kit which was 5.99 now i also met another model builder in the model kit isle we had a nice talk about model kits i never got to ask him his name i mentioned i was a member here and he mentioned he would take a look at some some of my builds and we would talk some more here in messages
  16. not much in the way of the kits shown in the flyer though only a couple of what was shown was on the floor at the ollies in niles ohio sadly i did get two kits though just was hopping to find more i wanted
  17. i went to the ollies in niles oh in the eastwood mall complex they had lots of big kits and not much in the way of car kits they had diecast and and the revell subburban and the revell mystery machine kits i ended up just getting two mystery machine kits which were 9.99 each and i also got two star wars graphic novels for 2.99 each and another star wars book for 2.99 then whent over to the hobby lobby in the eastwood mall complex and they were having a 40 percent off sale on all model kits i got a amt 67 shelby gt350 kit for 17.99 instead of 29.99 and a 1/72 scale bandai star wars tie fighter 2 pack for 5.99 instead of 9.99 and a uss missouri kit for 5.99 instead of 9.99 also met another model builder in the model kit isle and we talked about model kits for a while
