  1. Hi Tim! Absolute "Museum quality". I agree with fellow modelers that the pics make it look so real. There's just one giveaway, however... Most engine builders have an engine stand that has seen so much duty that there is a slight bend in the pivot tube and/or rear of block "brackets". Let's assume your engine stand is brand new?!? Just kidding, bravo! CT PS: and the exhaust ports block-off plates: You are a NASA-grade machinist, for certain!
  2. Hi Michael! very nice. The colour combo is very "era-correct". Bravo! CT
  3. HI! here's overall rust, done with the "air spray" method, using Tamya's brown lacquer base, then the air spray, then Tamya's acrylics, later scraped with a wet, short bristle cheap Dollar store paint brush. Vallejo washes for the rust "runs". Good luck with your project! CT
  4. Hi Tim! Thanks for the comments. Mr. Teresi is certainly one of the best modelers of his generation. He tackles subjects that are original, distinctive, and always with perfect execution. He is a source of inspiration for me, just as you are. Thanks again! CT
  5. Hi Bernard! As you eloquently demonstrate, "packaging is everything" with those cars. Hope your driver is a non-smoker... The fuel cell is seriously close! LOL. CT
  6. Hi Jason! Two words come to my mind: MUSEUM QUALITY. Truly. Bravo! CT
  7. Hi Jason! Masterful paint and interior detail work, bravo! I bought a glue bomb copy of this kit a few years ago, and I "raided" it for various mash-up projects. But your build sends me back to my Johan 35 "limo" version that is still waiting in the box. Inspiration... CT
  8. Hi Tim! Great "resurection", and so rare! Bravo! CT
  9. HI! I've seen his comments recently on posts by Codi and Francis Laflamme. He certainly pays a few visits here. Must be busy bending styrene to his will... CT
  10. Salut Jean-Philippe! Well, if this is 1/25, it must be at least 3 foot long? Just curious. Impressive, bravo! CT
  11. Hi Bruce! Well, if we look up the word "gloss" in the Webster, that is the picture that will be besides... Brillant! CT
  12. Thank you Dave! I see you are from Tucson. I visited your state and city a few years ago. Loved it. Certainly hot, but... hardly any humidity. Ideal to spray paint models! CT
  13. Hi Steve! Thanks for the comments. I saw some pics of your Deuce Day, and it looked great, both the models and the 1/1s... Maybe next year! CT
  14. Hi Dave! Well, you just said it, and thank you for it! CT
  15. Hi Hector! Thanks. Indeed, this Tamya gold is very bright... and expensive! 29$ Canadian for a 100ml spray can. To my knowledge, it is the most expensive in all the Tamya TS line-up. But it pops! CT
  16. Merci Monsieur Saucier! Much appreciated. CT
  17. Hi Michael! Very nice! The dark yellow combo with the British green is perfect. But I'm mostly impressed with your grille surround. I've built a few in 1/1 scale for 32's and 33's, and it is a chore, so your rendition is impressive. Bravo! CT
  18. Hi Tim! Happy you like them both. The 38 is just a curbside, however. The 1/1 car owner wanted a "copy" for his grandson. To this day, I wonder if it still exists, or if it was used to play with. But grandpa wanted one, and "the customer is always right" as they say. Besides, building his 1/1 street rod was fun, so...
