  1. Hi Mattias! Thanks for the comments. This Eldo is actually a rear wheel drive (!)... cause the Johan floorpan-chassis was just poor on details. So, I mashed a 66 Riviera chassis/floorpan with the Johan Eldo engine, modified the tunnel... and VoilĂ ! A RWD "experimental" Elodrado. Raised a lot of eyebrows at shows, but got a few trophies. CT
  2. Hi! Promising built. I love the patina you achieved. Convincing. I'm worried, though: will this engine fit the confines of the 38 pointy nose? Just curious... CT
  3. Hi Pete! Well, your french IS magnifique. Thank you Sir! CT
  4. Hi! Thank you Ismo, much appreciated! To your question, there is more indeed... But the pictures I haven't taken yet... There is: a 1958 Hemi 'Cuda muscle car (obviously a fantasy), a 69 1/2 (?!) ZR1 powered Camaro Pro-Touring with a tilting front-end/doors unit + hatch back rear trunk, and a Surf Shop shortened Dodge Caravan open-air top van. I also built a fantasy 1938 Lincoln SUV out of the Lindberg Vantastic. Here are the pix, that I forgot this morning. Cheers! CT
  5. Hi! Thanks for the comments! I try to vary the subjects, to avoid being bored over time! CT
  6. Hi! Happy new year to all, and plenty of building time for you in 2020! I spend more time building than photographing... so all of my 12 cars have not been pictured yet. But here are some. Enjoy! CT
  7. Hi! Quite a gallery, Sir! Broad spectrum and top execution. Bravo! CT
  8. Hi Francis! Great work, as usual I should add! Did your references come from pictures of the real truck, or do you have access to one? Maybe you have a shop manual? Just curious... CT
  9. Bonjour Francis! Thanks for the compliments. From a Master, it's flattering. I will certainly check your thread, I'm certain I will learn a lot! Happy new year, and hope to see you at the RAM North-East! CT
  10. Hi! Interesting. Is it a Flintstone body? You sure finished it masterfully! CT
  11. Hi! Nice production! If I may: what is the "recipe" for the green coupe/ute? Looks like a 37 PU with a coupe grafted to it? Just curious... CT
  12. Hi! Sir, this has to be one of the most impressive creation I've seen this year on this site! Concept, execution, integration of old and current themes: Masterful. Bravo! CT
  13. Hi David! Well, it certainly redefines the word "mashup". And to say it started during a sleeples night! Keep on, interesting and funny at once... CT
  14. Hi! Thanks for the comments! CT
  15. Hi! Your pearl white is absolutely fabulous! These white pearl are a pain to lay perfectly, but it looks like you made it so. Bravo! CT
  16. Hi! Nice project! I'm a Javelin fan, so... Looks like the same body that came in the Donahue Trans-Am kit... Is it? Just curious... CT
  17. Nice cars! The Camaro looks the part of a "day 2" musclecar as we saw them back then... I know, I was there, alas... CT
  18. Hi! I've built this kit when I was a teen (in the 60's). Cool project. ter The drag version on the pictures was a fiberglass "clone" of the actual show car. I saw the real one in advanced state of disrepair in a fair, in Lake George NY in the early 70's. Sad encounter... CT
  19. Hi! Very nice built. I remember when Buttera and Brizio were "fighting it" on the pages of Hot Rod: Nor Cal vs Socal. The original Buttera car, of which those "derivative" versions were issued in kit form, was quite a ground breaking design. RIP Lil' John! CT
  20. Hi! Fantastic treatment of the engine covers. Great! CT
  21. Hi! Thank you Jason, for sharing the info. Top notch stuff, it appears. Sure beats making my own out of styrene. I will order some, for certain! CT
  22. Hi! Superb assembly, very detailed. Who makes them, because they look slightly "thicker" than average photo-etch... Just curious... CT
  23. Hi! Great gathering of primo rods! What exactly is the body on the orange "phaeton roadster", if I may ask? Is-this AMT's 32 Phaeton? Looks like it... CT
  24. Hi! And suddently, it's... 1950! Bravo! CT
  25. Hi! Points well taken. I know Mr. Coddington had a woody version of his Boydster sketched for a customer... but I don't know if he ever actually built it before his passing. Mine was indeed inspired by that very sketch. CT
