It's a great build Marcos! I can see the influence of Del Paone in this little muscle car of which he was a real fanatic of this kind of build. I met him a few times here in Quebec at miniature car shows and I can say he was a great guy! Well done sir, you can be proud of it!!! ?

Great job Pat, everything looks very accurate and well made so far. Jamie Davis from Highway thru Hell is definitely going to want to add your tow truck to his collection, he can't resist those old "big iron". ? -

Very cool weathering finish, very convincing! I would like to be brave enough to embark on this process... -
Well Tim, I was not very far from the truth, some gems were very well hidden somewhere in the beautiful hills of Vermont but thanks to this forum they are now accessible to be appreciated by the rest of the planet! It is pure art and craftsmanship my friend, your vision is clear and your creative mind could not be better expressed than with this awesome style exercise! We are learning something every day and it is obvious that I still have a lot to learn from you my friend, the use of brass among others is one of them... Exquisite!!!

Hey Joe, it makes me weird to find you in this category my friend, I got to know you on this forum thanks to the build of your Maverick. I haven't built a plane since I was 10 or 12, so I'm really out of my element here. However, I have to admit that you prove that you are a very good modelist with an open mind and that the most important thing is to have a good time at your favorite hobby! No matter what you build, I will come and see your progress from time to time, I have no doubt it will be done very well! Happy new year buddy!

Hey Dave, thanks for the kind words sir! One day, I spoke with a guy at a drag race track in the Quebec City area, he was bracket racing on the quarter mile with a small block '65 Plymouth Barracuda with a manual transmission and he was the only one in his class where all the other competitors were using automatic transmissions. You know he said to me, the pleasure is to fight a little with the car, that gives a better show! Quite a spectacle I can confirm it to you with the front in the air at 3 feet from the ground on the starting line! Long live the 3-pedal cars..! Happy new year 2021 and take care, Francis -

You reassure me... I don't know if the internal temperature is very high, could there be a risk of deforming the body? Happy new year 2021 to you and your family my friend!!! -
That's what I was talking about, a hidden gem now accessible to the world! We must admit that it takes more than a simple overview to fully appreciate the work of a master to deliver a model of this caliber... I like your enthusiasm for what I do, but you create, I reproduce... At the very end, a qualifier comes to mind; unbelievable! I am very grateful to have met you here on this forum my friend and I can only take my hat off Tim, I have nothing better to offer... ?

Thanks Ron, you are probably right because as most of the moving parts are already done, however I have to draw a line where things turn to the side of madness... Moreover, I would love to start a new project before the end of time... I have a lot of ideas but I have to choose wisely considering the time I invest in them! Take care of yourself and happy new year, Francis -

Thanks again for the kind words Tim and sorry for the long response time as I was at work last night for the last shift of this weird 2020! You really have a superb sense of humor my friend! My gift of the day is to see that you have finally jumped in the parade, I will go see your superb work and add my comments to it which can only be enthusiasm knowing in advance the caliber of work that you are able! The year 2020 ends well... ? Take care, Francis -
I like this rather unloved color, it's daring and it goes very well on this little pony car. The paint seems to be smooth as glass, great start sir!

Super cool Pat!!! Is it a resin kit? I'm obviously not an expert in this category but I never seen one as styrene kit, I really love these old FORDs! -

Thanks Marcos, I was just very inspired by the outstanding work done by other masters on the forum! You yourself have some very interesting projects going on, my friend!!! Just a little tip, when you quote a comment where there are photos published, you just have to select the text to comment (and click on quote), this will avoid including the photos and adding them to the thread. This is absolutely not a complaint my friend, I am very grateful for your interest, I try to avoid adding photos to a thread where there are already a lot of them... and many more to come...! ? Take care, Francis -

Thanks for the kind words and the fun science fiction film script Tim! Thank you also for commenting on the first anniversary of the D100 thread my friend, it is never too late to join the parade and it would be good time for you to show the other members the high level work you are capable of. I had the privilege of seeing some pictures of it and I can assure you that you have a lot to contribute on the subject in particular with your obvious talent for creations with brass. You can be sure that I would be one of those interested!!! Take care, Francis -

Thanks for your trust on my capabilities Ron! I'm sure someone somewhere can do this sort of thing, but I'll limit myself to attaching the cable to the carburetor linkage, that will be the furthest I get into details! Take care, Francis -
