  1. More details aded, got impressed in how spruce can be stretched. Will work fine for rigging.
  2. Cool build! And sweet ideas on the doors and trunk and such!
  3. Thanks Alan! They came out great even though i did my misstake. The Eduard PE set is great quality i must say! Almost wish I bought them all.. but then again more to put on Thanks Carl!
  4. Engine is looking great! Fuel lines would look super but no one wold miss them either I am practicing my patience with my 1/350 Tirpitz and al the tiny brass pieces I am adding. There is a thread under "All the rest". My eyes get to work hard to get it done !
  5. You can enter during the year al the way to late november So GO FOR IT
  6. Noticed that I had made the catapults inverted so I took them a part and they broke so it became a pita to glue it together again. But it’s done as well as more bras work.
  7. Made a PE bit of progress here.. catapults are taking shape as well as other brass work.
  8. I am thinking of making it a bit like the viper, a vent slot and the exhaust either in the sides, square as mentioned by Steve may be killer, or center as Viper has them.. I think a defusor is not some thing they would have been done on a concept car in the ‘90’s so I will pass on such a piece but the thought have slipped my mind as well. great to have you along here! I think my flares ad to the ZJ design
  9. Wanted a break from my car builds and jumped back on this! Got some plattforms replaced with PE and their supports done! And man are those fiddly!! Also installed bunch of hatches and doors.

  11. Have been sanding like a mad man and made some progress. Not hundred about the rear bumper but the rest is coming along.
  12. Looks really good! great work
  13. Thanks John! No that is true. Most lift them or let them be stockish. Chassi is the original GC Chassis but with Skyline rear end and front diff, that front might change since its actualy on the wrong side of the pan. Will see if i can sort that out, would give me more space for the Transfercase. Yes Engine looks good in there, might try to angle it upward a bit so it sits higher and give me more space bellow it. That the engine fits was a trial and error, and i had to open the floor pan a bit to acomodate the 6speed. Yes some vents or intakes will be needed i belive, will se what i come up with:)
  14. So after some at first random cutting, a bunch of grinding and plenty more cuts I have a revised bumper that’s taking shape. With inspiration from the Nissan GTR, with the slots, dodge viper with the holes and the later SRT 8 with how the fender and bumper connects. Its far from done and I do need to cut apart the left hand side again since my first random cut was not even and I noticed when I was done.
  15. Looking top notch! Great work on your shine on the parts! Looks mighty fine!
  16. Vince, i have a custom front 2wd conversion kit that i made, based on C5 lower arms and tubular uppers. You can have the files if you have the possibility to print. Its acutaly designed for Revell's Bajja fever in 1/16 scale but works to scale down. It includes uprights,(not c5) and custom crossmember. and steering gear.
  17. Looking good! That blower motor for the Holden looks like a great engine for that type of build!
  18. Great build! And nice design work!
  19. Nothing major, the wheel wells in the rear have to be radious cut in the top since they are tall. And the rear axle needs to move forward couple of mm. The firewall fits ok just in front of the cross support in the body some minor sanding can help. Other than that it’s out of the box. In my opinion it’s a better fit than AMT 1/25 tbird chassis since those AMT wheel wells are so narrow. great progress!
  20. Sweet! Have been dragging my kits back and fourth but decided today before I saw your build to do a OB build on it.. but I have already scrapped the chassis, interior and engine.. will use a Monogram ‘80s nascar as donor for everything except motor. i throw a pic or two of mine if you don’t mind.
  21. Nice build there! Reminds me allot of my fathers GMC Suburban from 1996, it also had the same rear door settup.
