  1. Coming along nicely! Reminds me of a bucket we had here in town, sad stories though.
  2. Those are nice! I haven’t built one but seen one being built by a local friend. But then the 1/24 scale. This is my first and also my no1 manga ever! It was nothing better to watch Back then! is it your super sweet 1:1?
  3. Looks super! And this build really makes me interested in making something similar!
  4. Thanks everyone for your comments! I really appreciate it!

  6. So after couple hours at the bench the chassi has no longer the exhaust molded in, and a much larger gas tank has been fitted, only the first out of two.
  7. I printed mine in 1:24 scale and when I removed the original part it slotted in the same space. Even the sides “grabbed” the engine in a good way. Transmission was an other thing that I did not manage to get to fit so I used an other. I believe most photos are in the CBR thread. I and I do have my own tuebos for it that would eat dust as nothing else!
  8. Super stoked to see so many contestants and also som sweet progress all ready! Regarding my Laguna I have decided to box it since I get stuck in the same places in my planing on it. So I will be building a ‘71 Plymouth ‘Cuda with a ‘426 Hemi. It’s a started kit with some body mods. I also intend to replace the tiny cuda rear axle with a PB find which is from a ‘70 Challenger.
  9. Wow what an entry list already!! I have added in every one that have said that you want to join in. Even though some of you need to post a picture of the kit to be legit Soon the clock starts! 5 hours to go for me!
  10. The count down have started for the start! Here it’s only 10h to the start!

  12. Nice build there!
  13. It’s up to you as long as it has some thing and not only stickers. If it has “folded down” lights like a street Daytona or Vette it must be good enough. and btw al previous CBR builds are always welcome!😎
  14. Got my decals printed after getting the ink cleaned and some new cartridges installed. The Epson printer does well and it’s still 10+ years old, just the ink getting expensive due to corporate bull. 🐂 installed some of the smaller ones, my warning sign, much like what the Blackout SS had except for the message. Also installed my seat belt decals, I like the small ones I printed for the lap belts, wish I printed more of those.
  15. So I had quite a good year in model building this year and I got 3 done, one updated and much -grogginess on manny others! first out was the non automotive German Leopard in winter camo much like the ones I see around here when they pass through occasionally. second was the Porsche Restomod that I built for CBR and my friends 40 birthday. After that I finished a Revell Jordan 197.

  17. Yes you can. I know that tires are some times hard to find to suit the build. Or at least that’s the case for me. So to not have to find period correct ones helps 🙂 and I feel you, I do the same even in my small stash. 🙂
  18. great work! And nice touch with al the small decals!
  19. Nice little buuild there! Like the looks, looks classic oldschool.
  20. Anny one of those are great picks! My advice for the last 4 years, take the one you fell more entusiastic about and go for it. If it spirals out of hand as i has for me ocasonly you can always start an other one and make a more simple build.
  21. Sweet!! Those are al epic!! And all you mention should be good racers and as long as they were available in 1975, go for it!
  22. Sweet!! Will it be a diesel?? I was thinking of putting a Mercedes 5cyl 240d with turbo in my car but would be a boring car I guess, but due to lower consumption would make it longer per gallon.
