My point exactly. You can swap, "print" or make any part from any make or brand of stuff availible in 1975 and use it on your build. And if you want a IRS those swaps are also possible, both the Cobra and the Vette has IRS so just take a C3 suspension for example and you are golden! -

We are racing in 1975. Itβs entirely up to you what color the car is but I would say that try to apply the 1975 availability rule. I will not say that any one will not be eligible to compete due to using moderns brakes per say and in the end I would hope that in the vote by the end of the year am voters will be taking in to account that this should be a race in 1975 and whom have captured that the best. I would say, try to think was this available in 1975. -
Nice build! What was the overall difference to the Chevelle/malibu? A Canada car or?
-
Paint is progressing, hand painted the bow tie after several failed attempts with decals. I am trying to decide if I should put the impala emblem on the d pillar, itβs a home made decal.

Sweet! Will be following! And good start!

So I have made a classic Michelin Radial that was available in 1975. I as of now have tree sizes width. Outer diameter Inner diameter 11mm 28,8mm 16,3mm 12mm. 28,5mm. 17,7mm 13mm. 29,3mm. 17,7mm All these are nice measurements for our builds, at least any 1/24. The first tire above is same size as Revells Good year Radial GT. If any one want a 3D file for a tire or two even in any other size I can make it and send it in email. -

AMT β67 Chevelle Pro Street (Pro Touring)
Mattilacken replied to nickfzr61's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Thatβs a big block haha! A LS valvecover is 20mm long in 1/25 so start scaling one of those and after that u can use the same scale for the rest. If your splitting tool canβt do that you can use Chitubox for free and do it there. and yes that is the good thing about a printer π I send you a pm. -

Have had a lot of fine tuning and sanding the last day. But today I started on the auxiliary fuel tank. Seems like the total combine would be 440liters so it might do the job. -

This will be this nights last update. I have never been a huge fan of shaker hoods. And now when I have an engine which is more accurate the kit supplied base for the shaker hood looks bigger than the engine. So some thing else had to be done. The challenger scoop was a good base but not to fun so I remade it to resemble the shaker a bit and opened it up. Think it fits the build now. -

#3 βCuda some body progress have been made. I have made new drop lists for the side window openings since they looked naked without them. I also opened up the rear trunk.. mostly to show of a huge aluminum tank but still wanted to do that. I have also crafted a new shelf for the battery since the kit had a molded battery there that I hacked away years ago and only left me with an empty hole, but no more. and lastly I remade how the front valance is done. I glued the sides and cut it more like the 1:1, saw it being done by an other member on here years ago. Looks more realistic to me since I now can star massaging the fenders.
