  1. Thanks John! No that is true. Most lift them or let them be stockish. Chassi is the original GC Chassis but with Skyline rear end and front diff, that front might change since its actualy on the wrong side of the pan. Will see if i can sort that out, would give me more space for the Transfercase. Yes Engine looks good in there, might try to angle it upward a bit so it sits higher and give me more space bellow it. That the engine fits was a trial and error, and i had to open the floor pan a bit to acomodate the 6speed. Yes some vents or intakes will be needed i belive, will se what i come up with:)
  2. So after some at first random cutting, a bunch of grinding and plenty more cuts I have a revised bumper that’s taking shape. With inspiration from the Nissan GTR, with the slots, dodge viper with the holes and the later SRT 8 with how the fender and bumper connects. Its far from done and I do need to cut apart the left hand side again since my first random cut was not even and I noticed when I was done.
  3. Looking top notch! Great work on your shine on the parts! Looks mighty fine!
  4. Vince, i have a custom front 2wd conversion kit that i made, based on C5 lower arms and tubular uppers. You can have the files if you have the possibility to print. Its acutaly designed for Revell's Bajja fever in 1/16 scale but works to scale down. It includes uprights,(not c5) and custom crossmember. and steering gear.
  5. Looking good! That blower motor for the Holden looks like a great engine for that type of build!
  6. Great build! And nice design work!
  7. Nothing major, the wheel wells in the rear have to be radious cut in the top since they are tall. And the rear axle needs to move forward couple of mm. The firewall fits ok just in front of the cross support in the body some minor sanding can help. Other than that it’s out of the box. In my opinion it’s a better fit than AMT 1/25 tbird chassis since those AMT wheel wells are so narrow. great progress!
  8. Sweet! Have been dragging my kits back and fourth but decided today before I saw your build to do a OB build on it.. but I have already scrapped the chassis, interior and engine.. will use a Monogram ‘80s nascar as donor for everything except motor. i throw a pic or two of mine if you don’t mind.
  9. Nice build there! Reminds me allot of my fathers GMC Suburban from 1996, it also had the same rear door settup.
  10. I hapen to have the Jeep XJ 2 door and Jeep WK2 Trackhawk. + Gladiator and Wrangler that you can download for free. But I would like to have the non Trackhawk, like my own 2015 WK2 Summit. As well as the SJ Cherokee and wagoneer.
  11. This is the first generation Grand Cherokee launched in 1993 model dessignatjon ZJ. Before that Jeep had Jeep Wagoneer which was the closest to a predecessor to Grand Cherokee. That body is availible in 3D files. There was also the Jeep Honcho from Revell that have the same body style but pickup. And then you have the Cherokee that was availible mid 70's which was a a 2 door Wagoneer. The later got replaced with the XJ Cherokee in 1984. I am a Jeep Enthusiast as you might have figgured out So it got to be a long post BTW, here is my favourite ZJ which i need to build in the future. Its a Jeep concept from 2017.
  12. Nice build and great backdrops!

  14. Thanks every one! I appreciate Al your comments! Thanks Slusher! I have gotten better with the practice and al the knowledge I have picked up here! Thanks Guys! I am flattered to win the contest in 2024! Thanks! I have since updated the Leopard with thinner antennas and I do like this fantasy build!
  15. Beautiful build! The lines looks just right on it! The 1:1 pictured here in the ethereal is not even close to looking as good as yours!
  16. Great build of an modern icon in many aspects! Have had the Z06 kit but never built it, now only some parts remain might need to get me one stock C5 also. I do have several C5R’s. on the magnetic point. I try to wash my body after polish with automotive shampoo with some wax in it. That removes the static effect. Also a detailer for cars works good if you don’t want to put it under the tap water. Remember to use a goood microfiber polishing rag, I have a Mr turtle orange with long fur. That will make your life easier.
  17. Came out to be a beaut! Super work
