  1. I have started on the trottle linkage.. and 1h later i have a movable link. I used stretched sprue for al bolts and also the rod. Mr hobby links where used.
  2. Nice project! Thunder ranch would also work as a name. 🐂🤠
  3. Looks flat and nice now. Se my posts above
  4. The cloth I use, and a similar detailer which really brings the shine back. And I think you can skip wax with that one.
  5. I would work more with the polishing compounds and make sure to use a good microfiber cloth, I have found the truetlwax orange one with long “fur” to be the best. I usually cut pieces of it so I have good sizes to work with. And when you are done wash it with a good automotive carwash and Finnish with a detailer spray from your local auto store they you use with the good long haired microfiber cloth. I can take a picture later of the products I use.
  6. I guess its this one, original issue MPC Yarborough ’74 Chevelle. Pepsi one in front
  7. I have been using fine and finnishing from Tamiya. But bought the coarse now when resuplying.
  8. @White Rabbit that looks absolutley beautiful and amazing! Seen allot of great things from them!
  9. Not for beeing in the group build but I did a update to my cannonball truck from the other year and aded decals
  10. Have been doing work on the fuel system plumbing and it’s coming along I think.
  11. Beautifully done ! Looks like fun but challenging 1/24 kit!
  12. Watch out though. If you use Tamiya TS paints as the base coats don’t use isopropyl alcohol since that actually takes away Tamiya TS paints since they are not a full laquer some how.
  13. Welcome! Glad to see you here as well. You are most welcome to join, and I am looking forward to see what you bring!
  14. Man that sounds really cool! I like your plan for it! And original restorations is ok but it takes guts and vision to make a good hot rod! Go for it!
  15. As long as you use plenty of water when sanding paint does not stick in the micro mesh so you can use it for a lifetime I guess. I have had mine for 20 years.
  16. I managed to get some motor work done, pump drive have been modified and added a driveshaft for it. The hen aded nuts so I can start doing the piping. Also groved all the pulleys so I can make new belts later.
  17. Got some work done on the rear end and front suspension, made coils out of 0,6mm red wire and installed everything. Took a steering linkage from a 635 bmw and shortened the track of it. I think I have to do a simple lowering in front by gluing the front discs and hub onto the upright in the height I want. i also managed to shorten the drive shaft and install a swaybar and links.
  18. Wow wow wow!! Just found this and WOW that’s such a great look, super execution and nice details!! Right up my alley! I like every detail of this build! And I am not a guy that like yellow but dang that pops and look so good!! Great work there!!
  19. Must say that tha looks good in my eyes, I have revell chrome and used it on some parts just recently not sure about the results just jet but 12h dry time and it does not like to be touched and that might be bad for me since I am inpatient 😂 I used Zero Paints Azzuro Thetys, which is a silver for Lamborghini, it have a chrome like loom or at least semi polished alu, so I might go a head and try their chrome paint and se how it works, much better in handling since it’s a lacquer. @stitchdup have you tried it? I know hiroboy carry it. https://www.zero-paints.com/Chrome_Paint_30ml_Zero_Paints--product--7597.html
  20. Yes it was good, almost felt bad going over it with wet sanding yesterday but now it’s smooth as I want it so some minor touchup and then clear. For sure is, but I leave the thickening of car bodies to some one else. 🙂 Thanks Carl! I still have more to add to it so keep looking Thanks Kurt! Yes it needed some modifications and it went quite smoothly actually.
  21. Super nice build! Clean little details you have aded!
  22. Nice engine you built for it! Magnets is a great thing to keep things together when you have opened it up. Scalemaster is my inspiration for that and he uses it for many tasks such as joining transmission to the block as well.
  23. No woreies, I am probably the one that have changed the subject most times! just post a picture of where you are now with it.
  24. Cool look on that last one! I just saw some thing similar in a Swedish car mag. I saw that type of cars more back in the day when my friend was in to Japanese stuff.
