Nice start on that chop top! I was dooing some research and it seems that the kit you have would have been my go to as well in a way if i wanted to do what you do. It seems to have a '32 frame in it only thing is misses in my eyes are the '32 grill which the movie car has. The other Revelle '32's have air suspension rear end and electric fans. I guess the biggest difference i can see is the lower part of the door on this '30 ford body and their '32. And since the American Grafiti have no rear tank as the 32's do this resembles that nicley. Keep at it!

I manage to make a mock-up of a truck that have been floating around in my mind for awhile. A step side log bed on the ‘99 Silverado kit. Aoshima hilux bed insert fitted very close to what I had in mind. I was searching for some wheels for my daughter’s build and scavenged through my skyline box. And decided to just slap it together never the less I like it or not. So I added some decals and will slap it together tomorrow just to make it done.

Post your truck mockups.

Another Truck mock-up. A 3d printed dually be from a GMC with a Toyota hilux long bed inner bed, which fitted exactly as I wanted it to. Wanted to have a more modern square body step side look but with the dually bedsides, have newer been found of the bed GM made for the step side on this generation and the one before. Could probably bring the bed sides in 1mm or max 2 per side to make the look stick better. Wheels are some die cast wheels I found ages ago that got fitted to a set of wide tires so I got that stretched truck wheel look in my eyes. -
Looking great!

Thanks David! That is so true, and that it’s more or less the reason why this one stalled I guess. It was no fun when with the tint and it became a hurdle. Well I have a plan for sorting the side windows now. Just need to get bench time to get it done. But tonight is 1:1 jeep time, need to Finnish my conversion to steel springs with the parts coming in today so I can have the car back. Thanks man! Thank you, I went to great lengths to get it that low with those huge tires and it really came out as I wanted it to! thank you sir! Thank you! Will try that tip!

Thanks David! I also printed some counters and m18 tools as well as an engine to put on the stand

Thanks for the encouragement! Will try! did some progress at least, got most of the interior done. Cage is glued as well as seats and belts. I also started gluing the window and noticed I had made a mistake when cutting of the side window and cut them to close to the quarter windows. So I need to do some magic there.. but that’s for tomorrow. I did also remove the tint on Al side windows and even cut the side windows if as mentioned since they had a hideous thickness to them that caused an optic diversion. So I will replace them with clear plastic sheet. I let pictures speak.

Thanks. I think I pushed to hard so I cut the paint… don’t know what to do.. might just take a small brush with black paint and give it a once over.
