Thanks Chris! Thank you sir! thank you sir! Thanks sir! Yes it’s always nice so finishing them up as well!

Thanks! Yes it’s a bit similar, can’t remember what manufacturer it was on that intake, found a model on grabcad that I modified for scale model printing and added Al the injectors and stuff. Turbo layout was made by me to have space in the bay and fill it out nicely. and I wanted to display the turbo’s which the available nre kit doesn’t. thanks for your comment Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it! Hehe I was thinking of leaving it in front of the axle but that’s not legal here. But it actually went okay, tried to keep the bends much what you would se on a 1:1, big bends are not possible, and I did put in magnets in several places to keep it in place while fabricating it, which helped allot. Thanks Harry! I liked doing all the small details, and the exhaust hangers did allot in my opinion

Such a beautiful GTO! Great work! I just started one with my son, his build, and was looking for some inspiration! -

That’s for sure! Haha na, I only build tributes and that era of styling on cars are not my cup of tea. Would box it after a day I guess 😂

By the way, here is the link to the Blackout Impala SS Blackout.nu Thanks man! Yes I bet it would be a blasts Thanks allot! It did take allot of effort to make it look that way especially with the kit being a snap kit to start with and the lights gave me a challenge that I think I managed to sort out. And thoughts have gone in al details to get it just right so to say. Thanks Espo! I did send pictures in his FB group couple of years ago when I had gotten a bit further but I have no contacts to him now since I ont have FB. But I will try to reach out.

I just finished an old project of mine, my 1996 Chevy Impala SS pro street with a full interior and cage. It was originally intended to be a tribute to the Blackout SS ornes and driven by Bostic, Anders Envall. Bostic is a Swedish car magazine guru, a bit as Friburger in the US, and wrote this on his site many moons ago “Home of the Quickest, Fastest and Heaviest Street driven Impala SS on the Planet!” www.blackout.nu. This really interested me as a kid and i can finaly honor my promise. Bostic is a lovely guy and when I contacted him back then he even sent me a t-shirt with the Blackout SS on, and I promised to send a picture back when the impala was done.. problem was it never got done. It snowballed for my 13-year-old self, with brass cage and front sub frame, and since I had no god solder it was a mission impossible, custom rear end that did not work, so it got cut away and a C5 corvette rear end was being mocked up in there.. so you can bet the original chassis was a mess and well beyond saving. The interior got a center console and planned to have a floor shifter as the ‘96 cars have. Seats was thrown out and a set of supra seats was supposed to sit in their place. Some body mods were also made, boot was opened and started to build the interior, allot trims was removed, and front bumper got openings more like the Bostic Impala and a different shape. I built it with a full chassis from A monogram stock car with mods to accept the wide and long Impala boddy and the super wide tires I wanted to run. I managed to keep the interior mostly stock but the rear seat got moved forward a bit to give the low stance. 3d printed engine and tires and manny other parts.

Getting there… Details left and a good final cleaning! I am considering if I need to make new lenses or just go with these even though they are a bit cloudy despite polish.

Was laying some black paint on the booth lid, had a problem with sanding through when polishing. So I stripped it and put bmf on the emblem and painted again. Looks good straight out of the AB, LP Clear is not as “hot” as TS clear which is good. Did an other wet coat after this. .

This rear connection that never was intended to be seen by revell has been fighting me.. might have to do with all the mods and the fact that everything have been cut apart and fitted to an other chassis, but any how.. third time trying to fixate this.. epoxy every time but the glue areal is small and the tension for pulling them apart is high. Now I use Tamiya epoxy and try with leaving a small gap so it’s not as much tension. There is now way I can make a cut to make the tension less. cross my fingers. and so far so good!

Coming along beautifully! Engine looks epic! I have made some rodends and printed them for my projects. I can have a look over if I have the files available at the moment, have no work computer at the moment. And if so I can have Ghostman to give me a quote for a print of how many you would like to have. And in which sizes. And how you would like them to be of course. -

Coming along nicely! Try a dry fit with the windshield in. I have heard that it might have some interferences with the dashboard that prevents the body to seat properly. Not my own experience since I have no c7 kit but I read on it not long ago. -
