  1. That’s correct with the chrome piece for the bumper and the lights! Strange thing is that I never had a alternomad.. must have made a trade at some point that I can’t remember.
  2. They are quite nice to tub, have about the same diameter as the pro stock Chevelle from Revell but a much better chassi for dropping it low since the floorboard are above the frame which leaves you the space for exhaust. And the front suspension is good looking and easy to convert to coilovers.
  3. Nice! Saw a resin print on an Amazon 1/24 available on the Swedish auction site.
  4. Nice to see some progress on this beast! Nice work on those wheels!
  5. That color is beautiful! Great work!
  6. Good news! I have managed to make the interior to fit even though I have changed the chassis allot. But I will need to extend the black frame with 5mm so the front wheels are where I want them to be. The stance in the photos are as low as it can go in the back. But even this low I will be able to have an exhaust since the floor is much higher up now. some photos and last but not least the TD(TA) the problem with the front track can be seen, have to think about this later.
  7. Swet! Nice trim job!
  8. Sweet! I also had that kit as an option for this year CBR, would have built it a bit like the Roadkill Muscle Truck, still in my want to build que Will be following.
  9. I changed my plan and tubed by black chassis, I thought it was a good first subject since the chassi is so angular. Turned out ok but I wish I had a 8mm strip instead of two 4mm. Also missed a cut early on which made for a sloppy cut late in the process which forces me for some more patch Jobb. Over all, came out good, will se if the interior and rear seats still fit. ?
  10. Bam! That’s insane, but normal if you have billet wheels and sow on. That’s insane amount of money that went in and o it! Must have been a serious Nova though! I got that camaro for $20,000, way to high if you ask me now, even back when I got it. I should Have stuck with what I had, ‘77 Malibu, and put a manual in it and upgraded more parts on that.
  11. That’s sinister!
  12. So I have been playing around with two monogram nascars today. One will be the Track Day(TD/TA) Impala and the other one will be the Pro Street(PS) Impala.. so this will be a twin build and I don’t expect them to be built within 2022. But we will se, allot can change. The white TD chassi have gotten the firewall moved forward 4mm with styrene strips. picture #1-2 This sorted almost al problems. Still far back compared to where the window sit but can’t have it more forward due to tire clearance. In comparison with the stock interior tub it looks good, picture #3 #1 #2 #3 The PS chassi will be cut and merged with the black nascar chassi, that have been striped of its front coil springs to be able to run coilovers. Will have to remove the floor of the original interior tub but no hard feelings there. #4 #4 Here both the projects can be seen, the all original body on top, thanks @stitchdup For the extra set of parts! I found a extra set of headlights so I have two complete body’s now. Strangely I found a set of ‘96 impala lights on the same tree as parts that seem to belong to a 57 Chevy, a strange parts pack? And the customized body to the right. And far top is the nascars that happily donated their chassis?
  13. Thanks! Thats a sweet build, I like the idea and concept of lemons, have seen Roadkill on that event several times ? Nice, thats a nice hobby/ocupation! I have traded allot of cars but i am no collector since i only have 2 at the time! That Impala is sweet! Love everything about it except for the wheels. Reminds me of my 1998 Camaro that i had, btw featured in one of the big mags in the US once.
  14. Thanks, yes will se if I use the other one for my PS build, the interior is the issue then.. will have to think about that but for the second impala it’s ideal. the nascar chassis are really nice, maby not for PS but for a track day car! Will se if I cut the 67 Chevelle chassi and adopt the nascarfloor pan and all… will se
  15. While working on the PS Impala and going through my chassis for a front end I noticed how close a monogram nascar chassi was in wheel base. So now when I found a Snickers nascar on a auction site I took the opportunity to mock up the chassi to get it to sit where I wanted it to. I do this since I have two sets of bodies thanks to an forum member ? The difference in wheel base was so minor so I slid the rear axle a bit backwards, about 1,5 mm, on the truckarms and it seems to do the trick. Next issue is the track is to wide. And I want to keep it without flairs, so some missing of the wheels are needed. Except for that and the firewall being far back in the car leaving the driving position to be pushed back, which is ok. New dash board needs to be made and a new front cage. Also engine have to come forward. We will se if I do anything on this I just had to get it out of my mind ? I figure i can move the firewall forward 4mm really easy and move the motor as well so I will do that. Stock wheel base. Front wheels are to far back when rears are centered. altered wheel base.
  16. Thanks for the ideas! ? made a quite convincing part I believe. A brass tube was cut and the cable put straight through. Then angled it and used canopy glue for the e soft part of the booth. Looks good enough ? my part vs stock part, needs a repaint I believe due to damage when gluing the bracket on. And I must say, a good Mitre block and set of saws are such a improvement of what I had. I also customized some parts from the PB to make a fan assembly.
  17. #1 BMW 635 CSI 1987 Got started on on the exhaust and the intake. Lots more to ad and modify on the intake but it’s a start.
  18. Nice! Good idea to chose a Tamiya kit for such a build! Really nice livery!
  19. #1 BMW 635 CSI made some progress on the headers and have also filled the holes in the trunk that the previous owner of the kit had made per instructions in the race kit. Intake is next up.
  20. Sweet build! Love the stance!
  21. #1 1987 BMW 635 CSI made some progress today. Have decided to make a nice NA engine so I started on a new exhaust and I have also drilled the holes for the plug wires both in the distributor and the head. Thinking how I can make the angled plug wire connectors, suggestions? I am also thorn about the intake, “stock” GR.A intake, webbers or separate valve body’s and fuelinjection…
