  1. Great build! That fab work is stunning! Looks like it was suppose to be like that!! Great!!
  2. Thanks! I am impressed by my self with my 33 day Finnish! ? Thanks! Yes I did that now ? thanks again for all feedforward and dialogues! thanks! Same here ? Thanks m8! ?
  3. Here is my revised Cannonball Run Reuse build. Started with my C5R that snowballed and the time was not there to finish it as I wanted to so one month ago I switched to this. Tamiya TOM’s Castrol JGTC Toyota Supra from the 1995 season where it was street derived cars competing. This is one of the most iconic Japanese racing cars in modern time thanks to games as Gran Turismo 2, where the Supra was one of the must have cars in the game. The 1995 TOM’s Castrol Supra got dragged out of storage, sprayed in an more discrete color with some minor modifications and a added extra seat for the co driver. If you look closely you can still se hints of its previous life as well as the wear and tear of 26 years of use and neglect. And I broke my own record and finished it in 33 days from idea to Finnish! Custom wing made from the original wing sides and a Porsche GT2 “wide” wing blade. Period correct side mirrors. Typical JDM Mufler. C5R difusor. Extra seat with PE seat bases for both seats. PE seat belts. And again, thanks to everyone at the forum for al the kind words and encouragements!
  4. #19 JGTC Toyota Supra 1995 This is one of the most iconic Japanese racing cars in modern time thanks to games as Gran Turismo 2, where the Castrol TOM’s Supra was one of the must have cars in the game. Since my original plan failed due to never ending increase in fabrication, a Corvette C5R under the cover of a ‘99 Silverado, I had to switch to some thing that could get done in a month. So here is the 1995 Castrol Supra that got dragged out of storage, sprayed in an more discrete color with some minor modifications and a added extra seat for the co driver. If you look closely you can still se hints of its previous life as well as the wear and tear of 26 years of use and neglect. Custom wing made from the original wing sides and a Porsche GT2 “wide” wing blade. Period correct side mirrors. Typical JDM Mufler. C5R difusor. Extra seat with PE seat bases for both seats. PE seat belts. Thanks every one that been pinching in on ideas on both projects as well as al kind words along the way!! I really appreciate this forum and this years Cannonball have been great! //Anton
  5. #19 the team pushed through and finished the Supra respray and rebuild to be able to compete! The origin can still be seen in some places as well as the original color on the inside, underside and within the engine bay.
  6. Epic! Looks terrific! And can’t wait on that camaro!!
  7. Looking sweet!
  8. Paint looks epic! I think you would like the Gun metal TS38, looks almost as your dark gray, can be seen at my Supra in the canonball run. That exhaust cut out turned out great and will look epic when done!
  9. Man what a nice build! One of my favorite builds on this forum!
  10. Really cool build. The lt5 looks right at home in there!
  11. Could not agree more! Good work disconovaman! It will be good and really, does it Mather if there is several votes? It’s “just” a theme ?
  12. Think i will make it.. even though I made a new wing from theJGTC Supra wing sides that I made to look more like a TRD wing and adjusted the profile to a wide GT2 Porsche wing blade. have painted the trim and lights. Need to assemble them and the mirrors than I am at the home stretch.
  13. I don’t attend shows because the lack of them where I live. Went to one years back, did not intend to get any recognition but it was the only car from the show that got published even though it was not a first class build as many here but it was visual and creative with stance. Any how I like seeing primer builds and I often display my primer builds in the cabinet ( not a crowded place) since they look cool in primer.
  14. Beautifull!
  15. Beautiful builds lads! Have one of my own on the table ?
  16. Nice progress! A really good representation of your 1:1
  17. Nice build! Love those El Caminos! Looks bad as on those wheels!
  18. Nice! That wheel trick was neat! Will do that to mine as well!
  19. Thanks! Yes it ads allot to it! several of my friends have had RHD cars, exclusively imports. Skylines, EVO 2, Supra’s and a Toyota Aristo, luxury 4 door Supra ? it always feel strange sitting on the “drivers “side without a steering wheel when you are a passenger.
  20. Sweet work on that one! Looks great!
  21. Nice build!
  22. Thanks for that comparison! And both have engines. That might be a future swap for the lancer evos, just a bit to small but hey, have done that before. Is it just me or is the AMT(green) body taller especially in the back? edit: just noticed by watching pictures here on the forum that the engines are very different. The Revell one seems right for the Eclipse, cam drive on DRiver side, and the AMT one seems right for a lancer, cam drive on passenger. Have I understood this right? 2 edit. Even looks like it’s a SOHC engine in the amt kit and a DOHC in the Revell.
  23. Interior is done ✔️ chassis done ✔️ Exterior and windows next. I was not sure on the decal on the gas tank but I will keep it. Decals for the belts was a pita..
  24. Nice idea and many nice builds! At some point I should tag along and make either this big block Camaro or a old ‘66 charger I built. The Camaro was built around 2004 when I was at college.
