  1. Came out great! A really good work on that beaten up body!
  2. Beautifull build! I have never seen a 1972 in person but it looks very different to the 71 grill wise reffering to your photos. Definitly like the 1971 grill more. Btw, would be posible to CAD the grill you like and print it. If you have measurements of the model and pictures, straight on, side and sow on i could proaboly help.
  3. That looks Great! I have tried making a-arms and such but i might have the wrong tools or real lack of patience!
  4. Nice, i have the first and last kit you reffer to, the 4d have way better interior than the 2d. But the 2d have better looks to me at least Here is some inspo and maby info.
  5. Looking forward to seeing your build!
  6. Got me this real cheap considering what I have seen these go for recently. have to stop watching the auction site now…. also bought this to se how it is and many make a diorama… might have to get me an other race car soon…
  7. I think that i have decided on engine. The monogram ZR1 engine and the AMT one is almos identical in length, just that the Monogram is way better in detail. And if remember correctly.. I already mocked up this engine back in the day for this build. I have two issues though, one head seams to be glued on not straight, and this being a glue bomb engine its not easy to se where it should have gone, but i might use the PE blade and cut them of and glue them back better aligned. O and the serpentine belt is wasted... will have to make some thing about that. I cut the manual trans of and installed a TH400 from the AMT´70 Monte Carlo low rider kit i have, much more dragracing friendly than ZR1 trans. Have also been playing around with the front part of the frame, more on that in an other post when its there. The supercharger in the mockup is equivalent to a Procharger "12 for race use only
  8. Yea prices is crazy on the bay, got this one for about the same as a new Tamiya kit which is a steal!
  9. Nice cage work.
  10. Nice!
  11. Looks great! That hapened to me as well i think i glued my bed on 3 times, last time i made sure it was right and then put epoxy on the inside
  12. Also got me these from Swedish flee bay. Not always the best prices but lower than HS.
  13. Just for your information, Autodesk Fusion 360 is free, for personal use, cad program that also should work good if you want to alter models or make your own. You will learn quickly.

  18. Hi, Any one casting bodys in EU? I have the Pepsi Chevelle and might get hold of the Vintage realese from 1974 with the original laguna front end and would like to duplicate these. Anyone interested? /Best regards Anton
  19. Great build, looks absolutely beautiful!
  20. I have a desicion to make. I have no complete belt setup, the one I tried on is for my LS1 ‘98 Camaro build which I can’t rob. So I tried to build a hood setup with some corvette spares, a 5,3 truck accessory drive.. looks decent. I have an other engine as well, a AMT LT5, would also be cool with supercharger and definitely period correct if that ever would be a concern of mine ? top left, custom with C5 placement, missing the AC which a full-size 4 seater needs. Top right it LS Camaro. Bottom is silverado LS (LQ) 5,3. Anny suggestions, LS or LT5…?? LS6 or LT5? Please give me your opinon Sems like the AMT engine need some work to look as good as the Revell LT5 engine wich i also have but its huge du to the scale difference.
  21. Right, don’t it! Thanks! Will try to keep it interesting when it happens. haha, sounds like he was not really enjoying it but nice to hear about it ? I think these are great looking cars and I have always had a fascination for these.
