  1. I believe you are totally correct on the tire deal.
  2. Excellent build in every way. Paint, decalling, and Very clean . What's the story behind the Hoosier mommy, Hoosier daddy tires? Was everybody using them at that time or just Waltrips team?
  3. Looks perfect. Not one flaw do I see.
  4. Super clean, beautiful work on this one.
  5. yup, you posted it back in november and I commented on it. awesome build. Maybe the link will work for me
  6. You probably did. My memory aint what it used to be. If you could post the link i'd like to view all the shots again just in case I missed it.
  7. Probably the fogging is what saved you. Its good paint you just have to be careful with 2 tone paint jobs and mask twice so you dont spray one color over the other one. I saw somewhere that the clear will also craze the color coat. A guy complained on the website where they sold the paint. I think it might have been wallmart ,that he had ruined his out side plastic chair putting the clear over the paint. Rustoleums reply was that you have to clear basically right after the color coat is dry to the touch or it will , as they said, not give you as good a result. In other words craze the paint like crazy.
  8. Yes, thats what I used on my last build a 57 ford and I had to end up stripping the model and repainting with tamiya. If I had masked where the second color was going first I probably would have had a good result. You can put tamiya over tamiya and it will not craze but it crazed badly for me with the rustoleum.
  9. Excellent paint job with the rustoleum. Is this the rustoleum for plastic or another kind. When i used the rustoleum for plastic on a 2 tone paint job, the second color crazed badly when i shot it over the first. Yours looks spectacular.
  10. Looks like its coming together very nicely, Chris.
  11. Its going to be another outstanding build. You have a way of taking the reference pictures and transforming them into a 3d version of the pictures exactly.
  12. This one deserves a thread of its own. Very excellent build and graphics.
  13. Great build , Billy. I wasnt here yet in 2006 to see this one.
  14. You should have a lot more comments. I dont think a lot of people realize the change. And they are missing your finished build.
  15. Almost missed this one. Didnt know to go to underglass first and then nascar. Excellent build.
  16. Excellent clean build.
  17. Very nice. I have a feeling nobody knows you posted this car here. You should have a lot more replys. Nobody thinks to look in underglass and then Nascar.
  18. Another excellent build, Tim . I almost missed this one. They turned my Favrotes list link nascar to nascar wip. I had to add another link to my favorites. I bet I'm not the only one who missed this change in the forum.
  19. Super nice build.
  20. Super nice job. Excellent decals
  21. Looking good. Most of us would be afraid to show such a close up shot. But you have nothing to worry about, looks awesome.
  22. So clean so beautiful. Another awesome build from your bench, Tim.
  23. When you say laminated decals what exactly do you mean? Color images printed over white images?
  24. Wow, That has to be the best Guthrie Lumina I have ever seen. That green paint is stunning. Excellent build in every way possible.
