  1. That really is a cool car you're baby sitting Steve. I'm surprised there is not a Hellcat model kit. Maybe one day.
  2. Please let us know if the Matte Aluminum sticks Bill. I don't know when the "new" cr*p started being not too sticky but I'm pretty sure what I have left was bought before February. I do agree with you about the trim pieces on the older cars not being as shiny as bumpers, especially the ones with stainless trim.
  3. That would probably work if I could find one.
  4. Man that scoop was used a lot!!
  5. Well it sure looks good to me Buddy??
  6. Wow, a lot of cool info here and I appreciate the effort you guys putting into my question. Since it looks to be pretty near impossible to find on I guess I'll scrap that idea. I was gonna use it on my '62 Catalina build.
  7. No offense taken Greg. Yeah, it could have been me not getting the paint the correct consistancy or the atmospheric conditions. The last time I used them was quite a while ago. Just last week I tried the Paasche with Createx Autoborne silver sealer (the #3 tip on my Proton was just not big enough) and I actually liked how it sprayed. As for the trigger Proton, I just like how it feels and cleanup is a breeze.
  8. And I need some of the lousy stuff( I would use another word but the forum would bla-bla me?). Emailing them falls on deaf ears. Several emails to them, never a reply back.
  9. Well Andrew, the whole low rider thing is not my cup-of-tea but you sure did a nice job on the model. Great work?
  10. Oh wow, that color and paint job look great!!?
  11. Does anyone know of a similar hood scoop in a kit or aftermarket?? Thanks for looking.
  12. Perefect Mario?
  13. Very nice pictures but there is a problem......there aren't enough of them?
  14. Well shoot, now I have to look and see if I put it on mine?
  15. Actually 3 colors, red, white and blue pearls. I screwed up the clear on the hood so had to repaint the red and I can't get it to match now even tho its the same paint. Frustrating!!
  16. Great job on it Chaz!! If I ever get the paint to match on the flip hood to match the body on mine I'll be posting pics of mine too. Anyway, I like yours and a very nice color?
  17. I always had problems airbrushing with the Paasche and Badger airbrushes. I decided I wanted a new brush and after a lot of looking in the up to $125 range and thinking a trigger type brush would be cool I chose the GSI Creos Mr. Airbrush PS-275 0.3. It's dual action, gravity fed and I love it!! Can be bought for around $110 at Spraygunner.com. Only issue I have is #3 tip cannot be changed and for heavier paints the paint needs to be thinned a bit more. I also bought their "No Name" brand (yep thats what it's called) compressor. Has a tank and is super quiet. Just me 2 cents here?
  18. Really nice build there Gregg. The green with the black fenders are perfect on it.?
  19. Super clean and cool build Jim. Color and flames look great. I'm a Createx user also, especially like the pearls.
  20. Sure, go for it. Too me, that roof is begging to be chopped?
  21. Very nice 356's, of course the black is the real winner??
  22. Yes John, the '57 Nomads are such cool cars.. If memory serves me right, there are no actual engine/body style production numbers and the specific engine is not indicated in the vin. I wonder really how many Nomads actually had the FI engine. No doubt, there are probably way more now than were produced.
  23. So why is it going in the "pond"??
  24. Welcome back and to Middle Tennessee neighbor. I had no clue there was a model show around here. The '30 is looking great and I especially like the color. Model on!!
  25. Very nice Keith, soooo may parts and wow 80+ decals!!?. ??
