  1. I'm a long time BMF'er so as has been discussed at length, the new stuff does'nt stick well. Just wondering if in others experience, of the new BMF, is there a difference in the sticyness between the Ultra Chrome and the regular chrome. The Ultra does seem a bit thinner than the regular. Gotta buy some so just wondering.
  2. I have experience with both the chrome and ultra. I know the ultra before the new stuff has come out seemed thinner. Has anyone noticed a difference since the BMF's new supplier in the stickyness between the two? Grasping here since I need some.
  3. Did a quick google search, I don't see them sold by any USA company.
  4. Oh man, hoping not to have to cut the parts off. Will check out the saws tho.
  5. Looking for tips, suggestions for removing larger glued on body parts from an old kit.
  6. Looking good there Buddy!!?
  7. OK, this has come a guitar thread. My Daughter sent me this picture this morning of this beeee-utiful Gretsch.
  8. Ohhh yeah Mario, great looking '67. Gotta get my built....some day? Beautiful?
  9. Great "tutorial" on this Jim and wow the results are great. I also am an occasional Createx user as well as the Rusto Crystal Clear acrylic lacquer. Beautiful build so far!!?
  10. Is it the new stuff you recently got Bob??
  11. I try to play a little. Have a couple of Strats, and a Epiphone Les Paul. My wife says I just make noise. I like blues and southern rock, The Allman Brothers being my favorite band. Since you guys' are on the subject, I thought I'd chime in too. I don't play guitar but I am a former R&R musician. My Daughter is a self taught guitar player and has several guitars. A John Mayer strat, Epiphone Les Paul. Anyway, I as a great guitar player fan, EC, John Mayer and Warren Haynes (Gov't Mule and Almand Bros) are my absolute favorites. Get some Liquitex or Createx Balancing Clear to add to your craft paint. Makes it flow a bit better and smoother. Both available at HL.
  12. Welcome Lee. As others have said, the info you get on this forum is invaluable. Looks like a good start on the "Z". Good luck in the future and we're here to help!!

  17. Well it's a start Chaz. Nice color. The DecoArt Extreme Sheen Metallic sprays nicely. I did a test panel of the dark blue and thinned it with distilled water and added a few drops of Liquitex medium. It dried with a high sheen but not shine. Still will need clear.
  18. Cool Mario, subtle weathering?
  19. Wow Bill that IS cool, a lot of work on that bad boy!!?
  20. I won ebay auction for this model a few years back and the box was crushed damaging the rear of the body. I still have it unbuild and this is definately something to think about. I'll be watching for sure Thomas.
  21. The dash and trim on the rear seat look great Buddy. ?
