Missed this one Mike. As a huge '57 Chevy fan gotta say this is a beauty. I did the exact paint job on my last 2 builds (not '57's) and got 2 different shades for some reason.
Anyway, great job, I really like it?
That's a beauty John. I'm a kind of a Crager or Torque Thrust wheel guy on everything but gotta say those wheels really look good on the '65.
Great job??
Well James, inaccuracies (if they are) aside this is a cool build. If you like the look just do it if it looks good to you. I like what you're doing and model on!!
You're input in painting matters are always very informative Dave. I'm a recent user of the Mr Surfacer 1500 and so far really like it over the Stynylrez. I aways got a grainyess when spraying it. Not so with the Mr Surfacer. I'm doing a black paint job right now. Very smooth finish. I did a spoon test spraying clear directly over the 1500 and wow, it really came out nice.
Thanks for your input ?
Well if you ever get it Terry and it comes out like one you one to replicate it will be supper cool. I'm a diehard '57 Chevy fan but the '57 Ford Custom Sedan makes a great looking gasser!!
I'm in so much agreement with the comments about the Mr Surface primer. I've never used the spray can version, only the bottled one airbrushes. Getting ready as I type this to spray a body with the black 1500.
Yep, aside from my favorite Impala ('61 Bubbletop) the '65 like Jeremy is my favorite also.
Any color will look great so pick it out and go for it John☺️
