As I recall those "wheels" were actually optional wheel covers but only late in the model year as was the Z16.

Well you know I know the history of this build my Friend. That's one great looking '41....that engine looks perfect in there. Super build?? -
Thanks a lot Greg, Jeremy and Larry....much appreciated!!

Thanks Harry. As for the right amount of everything, I like the stripes on the Camaro but I just thought it to have a cleaner look without them. Thank you Danny!! Thanks a lot Chaz, I tried? Thank you James...I wish the real look of the color showed in the picture tho.

A I recall this was the first model car I ever built sooooo long ago I'm guessing 50-plus years ago. Of course, all the chrome trim is brush painted. Funny, I have a re-issue of this kit in my stash.

Looking great James, do like the color!!

Very nice and impressive Ken?
-
Wow Gerry, that's one cool Ford, looking forward to the completed pics!!

Thanks for the kind words Mario. Oh yeah, red/black works everytime in either combo. What you do with the pictures is pretty much what I do. But the camera on this new phone just doesn't take good pictures with indoor light. I would have taken them outside but I'm recovering from a surgery and can't go out to do it. Thanks again....and btw, I'm always impressed with your builds.

Thank you Chris, Mathias and Curtis. I was happy to get 'er done?
-
Thanks Nick....the headers and chambered exhaust are little gems that come in the Z28 kit.
-
Thank you Steve, Lee, Garry, David and Craig. I feel like my overall skills have deteriorated a bit with my advanced age but I am pretty much happy with results on this one. Thanks again everyone.

Thank you my Friend. You know my issues with getting her done!!

Hi there David. Yes, the paint went on pretty nicely and did require a bit of compounding and polishing. Unfortunately the true color doesn't show in the pictures. It has a nice pearlescent look to it. Yeah, I like the Daisy's. It's what I had on the first TA I bought back in '79. Thanks for the kind words.

Oh yeah Kimmo, I really like that. Great job !!?

Well after 5 months on and off this build I finally (thank goodness) finished this. Createx paints, gold base overcoated with transparent pearl red. Jay's resin wheels and tires. So here's a few pics. That's all folks....sorry for the different size pic, I just can't get the hang of resizing so their all the same. Also a note about the picture quality. The camera on new Samsung Galaxy S23-plus sucks in my opinion. If anyone has one and it takes clear pics I'd like to here from you. THANKS FOR LOOKING
