  1. Welcome Joseph! What is a Sportsman car?
  2. Welcome Bob. Name's Rob. I think my last post on FB (that I actually did, not my wife posting for me) was in 2015?
  3. Welcome Gary! Tenacity is an underrated attribute. Good on you, and continue recovering.
  4. Welcome Walt! It's a good group around here with much knowledge. I've a newcomer, and already I have learned a ton.
  5. Hey Michael, you did do a very nice finish job. I'm with Jean-Pierre - go with a finer grit after 3000 (like in steps; 3000, 8000 and finish with 12000). You might be surprised at the difference it makes. Keep us posted and looking forward to seeing the results!
  6. Welcome Michael, and God Bless you brother! You found a very supportive group here!
  7. Welcome Jack! I admire that you can narrow your scope of building. I, too, am a restrictor. I only buy cheaply-priced kits.
  8. Welcome back! (Stupid computers!)
  9. Welcome Charlie! Wow, that's amazing. Keep posting!
  10. Welcome Meiri! Start asking those questions. It's a very supportive group around here. Man, I love Israel. I was US Navy and we pulled into Haifa many times! Always felt welcome
  11. Welcome Marko! My advice: relax and enjoy.
  12. Welcome Nigel! Nice setup in the shed (I'm trying not to sound jealous). Love the collection, and honestly, if you hadn't said something about leaving them on the dash, I actually would have thought that you modeled wrecked cars on purpose. I mean, a couple of them looked like an accurate representation of being broadsided!
  13. Welcome Levi! Yes, much praise for raising a softball team! (I was amazed that we raised two!)
  14. Welcome William! Very nice Mercury.
  15. Hey Laurence. Welcome to the forum. One hundred percent humidity (and it's not raining) - that's Florida!
  16. Welcome all! Ditto to everything said!
  17. Hey George! Welcome to the forum!
  18. Hey Beans! Welcome aboard.
  19. Gareth, I know that you are going to make a winner, no matter what. A good friend of mine (got a purple heart in Egypt with NATO forces) owned a '75 Monte Carlo. Metallic gold with a brown roof. I didn't like the color, but I always loved the lines of a Monte Carlo (and of a '75 Chevy Caprice Classic). We used to call the backseat (of my Chevy) "motel room on wheels."
  20. Hey Warren, welcome to the forum.
  21. Hey Johann! Thanks for the nod, and now I'm curious; Why did you choose that color? I'll be working on it more this weekend (I hope).
