  1. Excellent batch of builds there. I love the clean fresh look of them and the backgrounds for them, very nice work.
  2. Nice looking kit. I've always liked the Renault 5. funky little cars these.
  3. That's looking really good. Doors look to fit ok, good job.
  4. Definitely. I have wondered though if the roof would work on a '71 Oldsmobile, with some modifying, to make the Vista Cruiser. It has that bubble top shape, the glass can just be painted.
  5. Getting some detailing done on the underside today. The basic underside has these sort of cutaway floor pans at the front corners and there's no real reason for them to be there as the kit kind of relies on the tub being the floor pan/firewall in that area. So I cut them out to where the crossmember runs and then painted the bottom of the interior tub and firewall to look like it merges with the floors. It's not great but I'm happy enough with it. I know, modifying the interior tub's firewall to be part of the floors, or even scratch building some floor pans to the firewall would look so much better, give me time, those builds will come, haha! I've made a start on the body, making the trim lines for the vinyl roof. My usual method, a few coats of high build primer between two strips of tape placed extremely close together. I'm trying this Tamiya tape made for tight curves, it's great, especially around the rear window panel as it curves to the C pillars, sticks nicely too.
  6. Yeah, I cant tell either if that's photoshop or real, but the slope in the roof just doesn't look right to me. Keeping the roof straight like you have looks far better. Looking forward to seeing this progress whatever you do.
  7. Nice work, you got the roof line looking so much better than the 1-1. Constructive criticism inbound, haha! I would narrow the C pillars and trim down the window sills like that of the 1-1.
  8. Superb looking build. Your paint is spotless, very nice looker. I loved the TV show when I was a kid, more so now than I did then because TV in the UK back then was useless. They would broadcast random episodes and then cancel it.
  9. All I've been doing lately is looking at past builds on the forum and watching build up videos on YouTube, Lol. Can't wait to get started on the others I have, addictive it is indeed!
  10. Thanks, guys. Work is in progress.
  11. Yeah, these old promo style kits are not everyone's favourite but I love them. The lack of detail feels like a challenge offered by the manufacturer, "Here, see what you can do with this" Challenge accepted! Lol
  12. Thanks, guys. I need to stop visiting the truck section of the forum. After building this I bought a Kenworth K100 Aerodyne and Mack Cruise-Liner. I don't have room for these things, but they're sooo cool!
  13. Lovely looking build this, the colours and white vinyl roof look perfect.
  14. Beautiful. I've been keeping an eye out for one of these but they never seem to be available in the UK.
  15. Very nice colour on the T-Bird. Those wheels give it a pretty aggressive look too. I like the ship. My neighbour used to build them from scratch, or he tried to, all I remember is broken masts and lots of string everywhere, lol.

    My 2020

Very nice work on these, I really like the Little Red Wagon and Duster.
  17. Fantastic pictures, the green Challenger looks real, like it's in a parking lot on a damp day. All very nice builds there, I especially like the Pontiacs, very nice.
  18. The wheels really look good on this. Very nice.
  19. Very nice looking rods there, I love the look of the blue T bucket.
  20. The wheels and colour combo look great. Looks good without the mirrors, they cause drag anyway, haha.
  21. Very nice, that Torino is sweet.

    My 2020

Quality looking builds. I love the Edsel, the splicing of the roof looks factory!
  23. I really enjoyed watching the Pontiac come together, and I remember being just blown away by the finished result. These are the kind of builds I really get inspired by. looking forward to seeing what you have for us in the new year.
  24. Nice group of builds. Beautiful looking red pick-up, I like that!
  25. All extremely nicely done, very clean work. They look almost real, that Range Rover is stunning!
