  1. Really nice. I love that trailer, colours are great. Very nice build
  2. Looking good. Snap kits aren't given the credit they deserve. They may lack an engine but they can look just as good as a regular kit, easier to build too.
  3. Some really nice painting going on there! It's going look amazing this one, don't think I've actually seen one of these built as the makers intended!
  4. Ah, right. These events were way before my time. I did some reading up on the situation and it makes sense now. Known as "The golden age of Hijacking!" It was so bad they considered building a fake airport! If I said "Take me to Cuba" to a taxi driver today he'd have no idea what I'm on about, but apparently it was quite the joke back then! Crazy times.
  5. Looks to be a very old kit. Great looking build, very nice work.
  6. Lol. The kit looked pretty accurate to the real thing then.
  7. Nice work on those seats! I love seeing this kind of work on the old one piece tubs.
  8. Looks really good, lovely detail in the engine bay. I remember seeing the interior in WIP, really nicely done.
  9. Man, that looks nice! I have one I'm going to be building soon, the more I see examples like this the more I look forward to it. Excellent build and beautiful looking colour.
  10. "Beard of Paradise" That's hilarious! xD Che Riviera? C'mon, enough, Lol! I have no idea what's going on in that one. "This is ATC, bring 'em in... maintain six feet if you can"?
  11. That Buick looks like it's had a catastrophic failure of brakes and wheel bearings and cant stop.
  12. Beautiful looking Jag. Very clean build and I like the colour, looks like a colour that was popular around that time called Damask Red.
  13. I really like that colour. Nicely detailed, and I love how those wheels look.
  14. Nice builds. I like the food vendor trailer and the field ambulance.
  15. Nice. I like the blue and white colour scheme. Love these big old 70's Buicks.
  16. Paint looks really smooth and glossy, very nice! I remember checking in on the WIP from time to time and it's great to see it finished. Well done!
  17. wow, outstanding work. The metallic colours you've used look amazing, and the BMF is very nicely done.
  18. I like this one, it's very nicely finished.
  19. I like the Galaxie. The woodgrain on the Wagon is a good job, nice one.
  20. That Maserati is beautiful, very nice collection.
  21. Look forward to seeing it come along. I like the Pinto, though I've always been a sucker for the underdog.
  22. Awesome kit, terrible box art! The T-Bird of Paradise. I can understand some kits like the Squad Rod and Fuzz Duster looking like a toy to maybe appeal to a younger audience, but this? who is it being marketed to? The car is from the early 70's, way too expensive and new a car to 'hippy it up' and just plain naff in any other time. What happened in the meeting when they came up with this? I would love to know what decisions were made and the reasoning they came up with it! The poor thing looks like it's racing away from it's owners as fast as it can, "I'm outa here" Lol
  23. That's true. There's always a first, I guess... maybe some sponsor decals on the side promoting a vinyl roof upholsterer for American cars, haha. xD
  24. ah, ok, thanks. Shame Jo-Han isn't around anymore, though I have heard the Lindberg kit is excellent.
  25. I was looking on Scalemates site, I might be wrong, did the mould start out as a Jo-Han in the 60's? Always interesting knowing the history and changes of a kit.
