  1. How do you manage to create these innovative designs? As someone who just builds them out of the box I'm quite impressed
  2. Excellent work and the color fade is unique. Nicely detailed.
  3. Thanks Paul. I've grown quite fond of this color and have done it on a couple more mid '60's GM builds.
  4. Stunning build obviously but what really stands out is the level of small details, the key chain, and eight track just to name a couple. The master cylinder clip is also notable and something I'd incorporate into a future build.
  5. Just happened to be searching for builds of this kit and was pleased to come across this stunning example.
  6. That is definitely a head scratcher. Fortunately I have one though.
  7. Stunning build and the seat decals could pass for actual fabric.
  8. Very nice clean build and I like the overall color scheme/appearance of this Pontiac. Saw this earlier in the day and it inspired me to pick up the latest reissue of this kit. Thanks for posting.
  9. Thank you Eric.
  10. Simple model that is simply beautiful. That side trim which doesn't look easy came out perfect.
  11. Thanks David and L M
  12. What an intricately detailed model Great work.
  13. Thanks Rastislav and Stuart. I agree the mid '60's Impalas were some of the best looking full size cars. Thank you Donato and Hector.
  14. Very clean build. All the foil work done very neatly.
  15. Thank you Dennis and Steve. Foil work has definitely taught me the importance of patience. Thanks Samuel, Bob and Alex. My photography continues to evolve.
  16. Stunning build and all of the detail work (trim, grill etc) are absolutely spot on. I really like the wheels and tires on this kit. Don't often see whitewalls on muscle or pony cars.
  17. Thank you Anders and David.
  18. A lot of wow factor with this build. Great work on a beautifully designed car. The halo style vinyl top is very well executed.
  19. That's a nice clean build. And merging parts from different kits and making all work is no small task.
  20. Thank you Justin and Mike. Thank you Mario and Eric.
  21. Thanks Michelle and D Petterway Thanks Doug. I also have an admiration for the '65 and '66 and fortunately there are good kits at reasonable prices for both years. Thanks Ken, Dan and Chris. Thanks Robert. I foiled the 396 emblems this time around rather than use the kit's 409 decals. Thanks Larry and Gustavo. Thanks Andy. I've thought about foiling the trim under clear in addition to the badges/scripts since they would be locked in as you mentioned. Sometimes the foil just doesn't stay burnished in place. Didn't realize you had a YouTube channel. I'll have to check it out. Thank you Jeff and Jim. Thanks Bob. I've recalled a number of these cars at shows in similar colors and it just always looked right. Thanks Carl. Thanks John. I've become quite fond of the color myself and have used it on a number of models that still need to be completed. Thanks Niko, I really like the tail lights on these. Thanks Jim and Dana Thanks Dennis and Michael. Thanks Richard and Andy Thanks David and I didn't realize the '66 cars had narrower white walls. While I greatly admire Chip Foose's work I definitely prefer these cars factory like. Thanks Jon
  22. Stunning as always Anders.
  23. As a fan of Colonnade coupes and one time owner of one of these it is a pleasure to see this build. I have a couple of the Lennie Pond kits and currently attempting the conversion like yours. I really don't think I'll be able to replicate the fender flares as you have successfully done here.
  24. As a fan of Colonnade coupes I like this!
  25. Excellent job with all of the detail work. Foil work around the windshield is perfect. Color is a nice shade of orange.
