  1. Well what’s wrong with having more projects than bench space to work on them hahaha
  2. Make me want to dig out my 67 falcon and see how well it would take to some modernizing?. Clean work as usual Dennis.
  3. You must be the lucky guy that got all the non-leakers, I’ve never heard of one not leaking, it’s almost like they were made by Harley Davidson. Maybe it’s just because of the rust, I grew up on the east coast on an island in the North Atlantic, if it didn’t leak it wasn’t running ???
  4. Ahhh the leaning tower of power, or was that leaning tower of noise and leaks? lol Looks great
  5. Looks better than a cloudy day here, you can still see blue, here it’s just layers of grey haha.
  6. Sort of, it has the highest number of bars per capita on one street, well at least it did back in its heyday. Many a story starts with “that night on George street”
  7. No sir, he needs to discover that on his own lol. They wouldn’t believe me anyways. ??
  8. But I can ride my polar bear home to my igloo.
  9. I’m too far out in the country to go to them anyways.
  10. I have them all in project boxes, that way I do t get confused lol, my current work area is a lot smaller than I used to have to I have to employ the minimalists ways.
  11. On the 32 it looked like that, the 34 extended the wheelbase. The 32 was built on the same wheelbase and chassis as the cars
  12. That’s going to look killer when you finish it Dennis!??
  13. Love the colour choice Jim
  14. Love the engine bay detailing!
  15. Starting to stack up for a winters work I think. All the 32’s I’ll be working on soon. 3w coupe, 5w coupe, pickup truck. I’ll be continuing on with the frames and a 30 coupe will be an addition. I’ll be starting some build threads as I progress with some of these.
  16. Spent a couple minutes digging through my wheels n tires and came up with these. Not sure of their heritage but I do like the design. Just up on axles atm nothing solid here the whole affair is pretty rickety haha
  17. Great work on a tough subject. I have many of these in my stash from the original issue and the many iterations. I’ve only completed one to date, I still have one set aside as a pre Roth car with a flathead.
  18. Thanks Bob, this is the result of bench cleaning and box peaking, I had completely forgotten that I had amassed some 34 truck kits/rebuilders haha. This will be my second closed cab 32 truck, I just realized I never posted either of my trucks under glass.
  19. @ColonelKrypton thank you for doing far more research than I would have been able to do. My head is spinning now.
  20. Interesting concept, I’ll follow along.
  21. How many ongoing projects does one man need? It’s rhetorical… there is no correct answer! This one will be a slow burn project, we will start with some parts from the Amt/Lindberg 34 pickup, cab, bed and the items associated with them, then we will mix in some revell 32 bits, frame and all the parts that make it wonderful. We will need the rear fenders as well from the 34. I need to do a little internet sleuthing to see how the bed attached to the frame, I’d like to be a bit accurate on this as opposed to just making it fit. Drive line is yet to be decided, the hemi is out as I want to use the hood sides. The last two pics are what started the burning.
  22. Hey Dan, can you send a pic of the can, that way I can make sure I can get the right one, is it with the automotive paints or in the General paint section?
  23. I got a return email from the only hobby shop close to me and they informed me that they will not be selling any of their small inventory of Tamiya paint ☹️. So that being said I’m kinda hooped for now, I have maybe 2/3rds of a can of red oxide primer and an almost full can of the fine grey primer. Those were about the absolute best imo and one of the biggest reasons for using Tamiya paints to begin with. I’m still a bit above amateur level in the hobby, I don’t have an airbrush, nor some of the other fancy items like a paintbooth or a dehydrator. So this will be a kick in the pants ( hopefully short term) for people entering the hobby in Canada! I guess once my supply runs out I’ll be limited on any further finish work. I’ll have a bench of white mockups lol.
