  1. Thank you Craig, it is a lot easier to add detail to the new 32 frame, the stance will remain pretty much as is, I decided to do a slight wedge channel to keep it from having the rear up look of a lot of hot rods. The suspension height is locked in and I’m stoked on getting more work done. Seeing as I’m on a 5 day isolation ban I should have a fair bit of bench time. My biggest hurdle now will be to select a colour that will showcase this work properly. stay tuned…
  2. Yeah looking at it now it might be a tad overkill, but I’m gonna run with it.
  3. Your bodywork is flawless, you would never tell that the bed floor had been modified ?
  4. To be honest I could not tell you, it’s a parts bin special.
  5. You’d never get any work done up here, we’ve been locked in a deep freeze for weeks, average temps were below -25 Celsius. That red does look very red indeed. Can’t wait to see this one finished.
  6. Yep an Ardun will be the centrepiece, I have a nice set of resin heads. Just buttoning up the front end right now.
  7. I’ve got a box of semi survivors that fit the criteria of this build, I like it.
  8. Thanks for catching my flub @Dennis Lacy, happy that it was able to be corrected in time. That’s what I like about this forum, the help and support. ?
  9. Thank you for the kind words @Dennis Lacy the engine in the photos is just one that I've been using to mock up with, the correct engine will have a lasalle box and adaptor, it was my hope that it will fit properly. if not I can quickly remove the center sections and slide them all back a tinch. That was supposed to be last nights challenge but my area of the city lost power for 8 hours haha.
  10. Keep it up James, that’s looking ready to tear down the strip or cruise down the boulevard on a Friday night!
  11. The real secret is that he has three hands! ?
  12. Rear suspension finally laid out properly, everything is just pinned in place right now, I still need to carve the c-notches off the frame. Trying to decide if I should keep the stock wishbone, split it or add rear hairpins.
  13. Thank you Bill, I do like the look of a flathead in a lot of cars, the engine design is just appealing. And a potvin blown flathead has just got to sound bitchin.
  14. Got the Atlantis repop of the mooneyes dragster, have to say I’m not super impressed. with all the hype about this I guess I was expecting a lot better, the amount of flash and sink marks is discouraging. However it is a great source of some really cool parts.
  15. Audi in the early noughties had some awesome colours, RS2 blue is among them. I’m keen to see this one finished as I also have a soft spot for rowdy wagons
  16. Key Lime Pie!! I think the interior is perfect Bob.
  17. Agreed on that, the instructions from Revell are kind of ADD, they skip around a fair bit, they could have simplified the instructions to show one build at a time, kinda like older AMT instructions. I agree the spreader bar does lend a nice accent to the front end. Great build so far.
  18. @Dennis Lacy with all the upgrades to the engine and exhaust will you be adding subframe connectors as well,( unsure if the kit has them)?
  19. I can hear that blasting down the boulevard now! Looks great @Dennis Lacy
  20. The wood frame is killer, love the stacks too!
