If you see my current thread on my 32 ford builds about 75% of the parts are from glue bomb rebuilders. -

I love the Revell 32 ford in all it’s incarnations, so to me these are worth saving. Luckily the glue used seemed to be a non cement. While it took numerous hours to get it apart the damage to most of the parts (except the front axle) was pretty minimal. It will live on. -

I’m a very patient person -
It’s a darn neat design, I may try my hand at copying one! Looks especially handy at detailing a complete engine.

While it’s not a vintage kit, it is a glue bomb, last picture is the pile of glue from the tear down. The front axle was the only part that didn’t survive. It will live on again, the painted parts are languishing in the purple pond. -
@Cool Handdid you make the stand the engine is on?

Excited to see this finished Bob, I’m up here trying to decide on another build lol

The 32 roadster is one of my favourite builds this year as well. I just realized that the coolant pipes had fallen off for the photo (that and it’s kinda dusty) I’m still plugging away on completing the 15 flavours of the 32 ford, complete are 3 window, 5 window, roadster, 2 door sedan, pick up. Next off the bench should be cabriolet 4 door sedan, B400 and roadster pickup.

Revell 29 ford roadster end of 21 build “finished”

Wow I love it! -
All great builds!!
-
Ditto what he said^ But seriously, that’s off to a great start!

The “Astro Rod” and that Vette are so cool!

Well from my internet sleuthing, this started life as a Lindberg kit, but I find no evidence of it ever being a 2 in 1 kit, so my only conclusion is that Lindberg probably shared the mold for the engine parts tree with another kit.

That’s coming along rapidly, nicely done.

Revell 29 ford roadster end of 21 build “finished”
Bullybeef replied to Bullybeef's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Jim there is a soloution to this problem, find the revell 33 snapper and cut the hood off add the inner cowl/firewall from the 34 5 window kit and away you go. -
Was the kit at some point a 2 in 1? Might be a left over

The 2022 Cannonball Run Year of Birth Build Thread
Bullybeef replied to disconovaman's topic in Community Builds
Well here we go! So the starting point is the mpc 1970 mercury cyclone. I’ve decided to stuff the innards of a 2013 revell mustang boss 302 inside and take this merc into the current millennium. The chassis will need to be stretched 1cm to correct the wheel base but overall I think the new underpinnings will work with a few modifications. The kit engine while nicely detailed may be upgraded to a 3D printed version with a supercharger.
