  1. Looks good, what have you planned for the engine?
  2. Yep it does, sadly the greased lightning convertible, nor the police car 2 in 1didnt get any of the good optional parts.
  3. Welcome Murray, I did a 4 year stint in Regina, decided it wasn’t cold enough, moved west to Edmonton. Worked North of Zama city for two years, -25 is balmy compared to the -52 from up there lol. Be sure to post up some of your builds. cheers from the Landlocked Newf
  4. @Kit Karson that rear setup is awesome and I can see it translating well to other applications, ie a 32 frame. One question about the geometry, will you be adding a rear stabilizer bar?
  5. This is a kit on my want list, I’ll watch to see how it looks to decide on whether I’ll get it or not .
  6. Right after I saw the pic of the bed extension I had an idea of where you were going with this build, I’m excited to see this play out as it looks awesome! one question on the toothpicks, you mention louvers but do you mean ribs, like for the floor of the bed?
  7. I’ll be joining in! Once I unpack, moving day is Saturday ??
  8. Looks good Robert. Interesting design change with the cowl and body.
  9. Inspiring build sir??
  10. Wow, I followed the build, that turned out fantastic!!
  11. That’s pretty much what I did, I looked through his Fotki, found what I wanted him and contacted him for pricing. he is pretty fast at responding, it may seem like a pita to order but I guarantee the results are worth it.
  12. That is some really delicate repair work, how sturdy are the photo etched razor saw blades?
  13. Got my small order from Drag City Casting today, first time ordering from Ed, I can honestly say it will not be my last order. 32 rpu body with chopped windshield 32 ford stock firewall 55 chev rear tonneau cover to cover the back seat area And some really gnarly rear American race wheels for an altered project.
  14. @Kit Karson I was reviewing the parts list for the ‘29 roadster the other day and the current offering includes both trans supports, one is for the highboy snd the other is for the channelled rod. There are quite a number of duplicated parts to build one or the other. cheers Bil
  15. That’s an awesome build, I think you nailed the 80’s smooth look quite well.
  16. That lil snapper was the basis of my full blown project, hope to finish it soon! yours looks awesome ??
  17. I think if irc, I was going for a street legal replica https://www.mecum.com/lots/CA0816-244573/1966-ford-gt40-mki/
  18. I honestly don’t remember, it was 16 years ago
  19. I’ll ask to get in on the next round. I have this beautiful 1:24 Ford Gt40 that I recently found while packing to move! I’m pretty sure I started this about 2004. Sadly I can’t find the engine that I know I had for it☹️.
  20. Thank you gentlemen, unfortunately this is boxed away for a little while, I’m currently packing for a move, all my wip are going to be amongst the first to get unpacked once the move in is complete, gotta follow the order of importance, kitchen bedroom bathroom office living room... hobby is pretty darn close to last on the list ☹️
  21. Go to a tire shop and get some stick on lead weights, put them in the trunk, give it a lift off look
  22. Yes flat hunter green
  23. Not sure if this helps, but with a bit of patience and these three testors paints I was able to get a fairly good Ford green.
