This was a quick brainstorming session while waiting for paint to dry, I started with a 37 Ford rebuilder, added a flat deck, wasn’t happy with this nor the cobbled together dual rear wheel setup. But then a partial racing wedge( missing the p/s panel came into my possession. I fabricated a quick styrene side panel( still have to cut the wheel opening) and made a better dual rear wheel set up. I still have to decide on a power train and a driveshaft setup

I’m liking all that I see, great work sir

I’ll be in for this one, currently packing for a move, but once I unpack I’ll have it all laid out and ready to go!

Thanks, Its a lot more work than I had anticipated ? getting all the parts lined up and leaving room for the coolant pipes was a challenge in itself.

I decided on using the fender aprons, they required some modifications to work with the Ardun heads. Finally sorted out all the pulleys and the generator location. Once the glue sets I’ll finish routing the plug wires then add the belts. then I can finally set the engine in place and move forward with the suspension

@Kit Karson your step by step write ups are awesome, and I can understand your dilemma of not wanting to hijack. We the audience can be patient while waiting for the op to either show some progress or allow the hijack ?

Why not a mild Z section to move the rear frame section up?

Thank you Greg, I’m still working on completing this amongst other projects, resin parts really add to the level of detail on this engine for sure.

Have you been spying on my build bench? I’ve mocked up my chopped three window to almost the exact same setup! However mine is about three builds down the line so I’ll follow along with yours for inspiration.

The wheels in pics on my screen almost look like a rose gold, depending on where you are going with the body colour they are pretty cool.

Been working on this engine for a couple of days ( on and off)

Progress is progress! Pulleys are all sorted for location, just working on a mounting point for the generator.

A good friend bought out a local collection and passed these on to me! I was floored. some may not be on my list as gee I have to build those, but some will be harvested for parts.

That update takes precision to a whole new level! ?

Not a lot to show but it’s an update! Spent a couple of hours digging through my parts bins snd parts kits as well as opening up the hoods of every rebuilder I have. Realized late yesterday that I didn’t have a proper intake manifold for the scot blower to Mate up with the ardun heads! Did a quick interwebs search and found a pic of what a 1:1 should look like. Found a close match and offered it up to the ardun heads, it’s a near perfect fit. Sacrificed a single carb early intake manifold for the front and rear and mated them up to the donor manifold. and as Steve Buscemi said in Mr.Deeds.. ”looks good to me!”

Just a tip for you, when it comes to getting the doors on, I temp glued the firewall and floor pan to the body, then taped the doors in place to get the gaps straight, glue on the hinges and then let it set. I guess this will be only useful if you plan for the doors to be open

In today’s episode we will start on the interior, using the tub from the Amt 5 window kit, started by removing the floor from the tub as it will bee too tall with the section job. Selected some parts and started laying out the parts to see how it would all fit! Used my headless driver for mocking up the steering wheel height? he appreciates the side work! Just waiting for the seats to come out of their purple bath, then they will get some colour.
