  1. Pretty slick looking Dodge pickup. Nice build. Where's the little mini bike?
  2. Nice build on the ramp truck. Looks pretty sharp and I like the old school stock car it's hauling.
  3. Nice looking pickp. Great stance and the wheels & tires really make the truck. That color really pops. I'm liking this one.
  4. Thanks Roger. Now I just have to get through this next paint job.
  5. You bet man.
  6. Thanks man. The resin Torque Thrust wheels & tires come from Jay's on Ebay. I airbrushed them with the chrome from a Molotow pen. https://www.ebay.com/str/jaysfashions1948?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=VFPC8PxcSpO&sssrc=3418065&ssuid=PdYkWHeYT9m&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  7. Ok....pulled the 55 Nomad body out of the Easy-Off this morning an gave it a good bath in soapy water. I did a light sanding with 400 grit to help remove what little paint was left. Once I finish sanding up to 12,000 grit I think it'll be good to go. I'm a Happy Camper.
  8. Nice looking Gasser. I picked this kit up some time back.
  9. That turned out really nice. Great color and the detail work is outstanding. I like the drivers side window half open, nice touch.
  10. That 409 looks pretty kewl setting in the business end.
  11. Thanks man. Yeah, I'm going to check on the body this morning and see how it's doing but I suspect that most of the paint will be gone. The Easy-Off seem to do the trick. Pretty kewl Dehydrator you made.
  12. Going to be a pretty kewl Gasser project. I'll be watching this one.
  13. I'm just glad I was able to save the body.
  14. I hear ya. I may not have to go that route. I think the Easy-Off is doing the trick.
  15. Yup. I'll see what happens with the last round with the Easy-Off oven cleaner.
  16. I hear ya man. Thanks.
  17. Before I put the body back in the Easy-Off for the last time I did a quick mock-up to make sure everything is still where it should be.
  18. Ok fellows....this is where I'm at with the 55 Nomad on stripping the paint. I first tried the 91% isopropyl Alchol, Then the Super Clean, and last but not least the Easy-Off oven cleaner. The before pic is before I used the Easy-Off and the after pic is after 2 rounds of the Easy-Off. Maybe one more round of the Easy-Off and then start sanding. The body is starting to feel a little soft so this will be the last round. I am trying my best to save this but man is this one fighting me. If this doesn't work I guess I'll have to drop back and punt ?
  19. Couple of good looking Ranchero's there. What's the ET for the 1/4 mile.
  20. I really like the red & white interior. Pretty sharp looking 59 Caddy.
  21. I don't remember where I got my Easy-Off from but it seems to be working. Good looking dehydrator.
  22. Haha....I heard that.
  23. Thanks man.
  24. I gotta tell you guys....the pics do not do this model justice. Roger brought the Hornet over the other day to show me and it is one fine looking built model. Very well detailed and the paint job is Bodacious. Roger is a Master Modeler with years of experience and it shows in all his builds. Just a Great looking build Roger. Nicely done.
  25. I appreciated ya checking this thread out man. The prognosis is looking better.
