Thanks DJ. Yup. Post a pic with dimensions if you don't mind.

Thanks Andrew. Yeah, that Metallic Black would look nice.
-
Well Roger, I hate to hear that but it does look nice. I know exactly what you mean. That seems to happen to me on every build so I'm usef to it.

I found a couple 4 barrel carbs in the parts box and thought I might change up from the kit provided 3 deuce setup. All it took was to sand down the intake and make it flat then make a plate for the two carbs to set on. I also did a little mock-up just to see what the model would look like with the 22" wheels & tires. I'm going to try and make a visor but I don't have high hopes that it'll work out.

That turned out really nice Tom. Great looking build.

I'm diggin the ole 51 Henry J there Phillip.

That's a good looking Hot Rod there Phil. The blue catches your eye immediately and the red wheels & grille just make it all pop. I'm liking it.

The Trans Am turned out pretty nice Cl. Really nice detail work.

The Edsel is looking pretty sharp there Jim.

Well...the 57 Ford Sedan Gasser is finished as far as the build goes. Just waiting on the decals to come in so I can finish it out.
-
Well fellows...I've been working on my 57 Ford Sedan Gasser but it's actually completed and I'm waiting on the decals to come in so it's time to get on the 50 Olds. I got the twist out of the chassis and got most of the engine part cut off the tree. The lower "X" frame is also twisted pretty good so I cut it away from the other part of the tree and I'll have to see if I can get it straightened up. I think I'm going with a two 4 setup instead of the 3 deuces that come in the kit. I have also been checking out other color choices as well.

You bet man. I'll be watching for it.

Very kewl build there Doug. I remember watching the Little Red Wagon run at the drag strip. The Dodge on Dodge is a show piece. -
Pretty kewl looking Demon. Bet that was a hoot driving the 1:1 around for 15 years.

Wreck repair on a Revell Henry J
Zippi replied to Lucius Molchany's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Man I hate to see a Henry J go down. Looking good on the repair. -
I found in on Lofty Ambition - 1957 Ford Gasser | The Online Automotive Marketplace | Hemmings, The World's Largest Collector Car Marketplace when I was doing my research. Nice car.
-
Thanks man. Yeah, I found that one when I was looking at pics for the stance I was going for. Well pull it down off the shelf and get started. That would make a nice build.

I hear ya David. I'm just the opposite when it comes to an airbrush vs a brush. We all have to do what works best for us.
-
Not really. It likes to go on wet with only one pass if possible. I set my air pressure at 20 psi. Even after a few day it does not like to be touched.
