I consider Hobby Lobby having mostly the same kits for a long time a good thing, because it gives me time to buy my more desirables and get my less desirables later. The one near me hasn't increased the prices on kits yet like others have said, and I picked these up. Still a few not quite must haves that I would like to get later.

I built a ship model once but it broke apart when I tried to jam it into the bottle.

1964 Comet Crash - Opinions?

I know here you can't get a seatbelt ticket in anything 72 and older because shoulder belts were optional until then. Not as great as it sounds when the officer hands you a speeding ticket and says "I wanted to just give you a seatbelt ticket but..." -
AMT to reissue the Alaskan Hauler Kenworth
Tabbysdaddy replied to Mr mopar's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I hope it doesn't have a big hole in the windshield like the one pictured. -
Does anyone think being shipped in a hot metal container would have caused the warping? Since it gets hot enough to kill a human being I think it could warp plastic.

I guess that's part of the "let the robber stab you to death" statute. -

I think "Off Topic" is the most appropriate place to talk about death on a family oriented forum. It's one of the reasons I don't go in there. -
Yep, liking the Suburban.

Shorty Chevy Custom Van

That's cool, but the shorty vans are also shorter behind the rear wheels. Just like the longbed/shortbed pickups.- 11 replies

I need info on the AMT/R2 Dodge Van kits.
Tabbysdaddy replied to Oldmopars's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Cool, something I can help with. The width is the same but the Chevy is 1/8" longer. I measured the length at the center and edge of the windshield. -
