    You came to a site where people build models, and said nobody builds decent models anymore. Why would we be offended by that?

    People didn't think someone would open your hood to steal parts either but they started putting the hood release inside the car back in the 70s.

    It's some fairly heavy duty tape circles on all four sides. The VW bugs have been packaged like that for a long time. Not my favorite way but easy to tell if it has been tampered with.

    Made my stop at Hobby Lobby, got these two. As someone else has said, there was a spot marked for the 85 Z28 but none on the shelf. This was the only 81 Z28 on the shelf, so I'm guessing they're selling just fine.

    I drove my mom's 78 Corolla for a while, until a Cadillac pulled out in front of me and I nailed the passenger side of it. The Corolla held up really well, the Cadillac was totalled.

    I bought the monster truck just to have most of the parts for a stock longbed.

    Yea, that's what makes them look so awful. They aren't diagonal on the real thing. A bench seat would be nice too, like the majority of those trucks had.

    Can you post pictures of some of yours so people know the right ones to get? I've seen them elsewhere here, they're pretty nice.
