  1. When I see that other one, I think it's a gosh darn marker.
  2. In my quest for better mileage I swapped 3.08 rears under my G20 and C2500, but I still have the 3.55 rears if I want to go back. I'm not sure how much better it is, but I am sure that I don't feel like switching them back.
  3. I was mostly joking. I'm sure many people have a favorite. I use STP, because I like blue.
  4. I would love to have a 90s GM truck with a manual transmission, mine are automatics. I had an 87 F150 with a 5 speed that was fun, but I traded it for an 87 R10. I'm a GM guy, but I do have a Ranger and a Dakota.
  5. Fram is a low quality filter from what I've heard.
  6. I had a 78 Cougar, 4 door. I haven't thought about that car in a long time. Thanks for jogging my memory.
  7. My cutoff was 95, but I have a 99 I got for free and another 99 I got for $200. Can't pass that up. I have a lot of vehicles, four tagged. If one breaks and I can't fix it right away I just use another. Most are GM TBI so in an emergency I can borrow parts.
  8. Something doesn't seem quite right here, but I can't put my finger on it.
  9. You might not say that if you saw my welds.
  10. I cut floor patches for my S10 out of the hood.
  11. I don't think it's just the tape. I built this one when it first came out. It's dusty but the spots aren't dirt.
  12. Those things are out of date before they are printed, price wise.
  13. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
  14. Such a beautiful engine, and you go and put a Fram oil filter on it.
  15. I haven't been there, but my wife keeps telling me we should go there.
  16. Yep, Colonial Photo and Hobby. Always a good selection.
  17. I took advantage of a surprise day off work and went to my LHS. They had two of the three kits I was looking for. They will order the other for me if I want, but there's never a shortage of kits I want on the shelf, so I picked a different one. I took a few pictures to show some of what I had to choose from.
  18. I just realized, I guess that means I can use the stock front bumper from the GMC truck with plow on the Mad Mudder. I forget what other stock parts are missing other than the top. I'll have to check.
  19. Maybe, but they still make Gremlin models.
  20. That's cool. Maybe that's why the truck is molded without the rear wall, a different insert for the Blazer rear.
  21. I got my 93 2500 about six years ago for $200 and an extra 350 engine I had. It's my work truck.
  22. I finally worked on something, a little. I cleaned up the hood from the 70 GTO super stocker to see how it fits on the 72. Pretty good fit, except it has a little warp. I want to open up the headlights before I cut the nose off. And I had to get a picture with the Lemans.
  23. I guess this is my favorite box art. It's the only one I display upright so I can see the top.
