  1. Yes it is. That's the replica I built. Mine had the 396, Rochester 4 barrel with the Muncie 4 speed. If I remember correctly it had 375 HP.
  2. The Pegasus set worked out good for me.
  3. Calling it done.
  4. Nice little kit, no major problems with it. Decided to go with Tamiya Flat Dark Green, no gloss and no chrome on the trim. There was no radiator hose in the kit, had to make one. Added spark plug wires, made a plate to mount the moon tank on the front. I didn't like the plastic tires, so found some rubber in my parts box that worked. All comments welcome and thanks for looking.
  5. Got the body ready..................
  6. Yea, it fit good without cutting it apart. I only glued it at the bottom edge of the rear window and bottom edge of the windshield. Didn't need any glue on the top strips. I noticed that relief, not sure what it's for.
  7. Thanks Bob. It's gone together good so far. Take a close look at the body photos, glass is in, I did not have to separate it.
  8. Moving along, got the chassis and interior almost ready, need to add the front braces. Paint is flat dark green, no gloss and no chrome trim. Need to get the decals and bumpers, etc. mounted.
  9. Finally got started on it. Got the engine done. Primer is on the body, I will go with Tamiya Deep Green for the color coat.
  10. Thanks David. Thanks Chaz. Thank you. Thanks.
  11. I think the tops can be removed to reveal a larger opening. I've never tried, but have read about others doing it.
  12. Got this one on the bench ready to start. Straight 00B build, nothing special, probably add some plug wires. All comments welcome, and thanks for looking.
  13. Kit I picked up at Ollie's a few weeks ago. Straight OOB build, nothing special. All comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  14. Got a new airbrush the other day....Badger Patriot 105. Picked up a Polar Lights Hot Wheels Dodge at Ollie's yesterday.
  15. Nice work. They look great. I'm a fan of the show. I recently built a 56 Chevy based on one I saw on there.
  16. The Salvinos generic Dodge kit has the correct engine. I built the 71 Dodge number 11 using that kit. I got the kit and decals from Mike's Decals.
  17. Too bad about the paint issues Bob. It's happened to me and it's frustrating. I'm sure you will get it figured out.
  18. One of the greats. And a favorite of mine. I meet Dickey and the rest of the band in 1969 while visiting a friend. At the time they had just arrived in Macon and was just trying to get by. Good times. The road goes on forever......................play on brother.
  19. Thanks Jim.
  20. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks Bob. Thank you. Thanks. Thank you. Thanks. Yea, looks better with the top. Thanks David. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks David. Thank you.

  22. Picked this up at Ollies back a couple months ago. It's the Hot Wheels version. It is a nice little kit. I built it straight OOB, but did not use the Hot Wheels decals. Color is Testor's Metallic Green enamel, interior and top is Tamiya Tan. The engine I sprayed with Rustoleum Bright Coat. It went together well, the front suspension was a little finicky and the hood does not fit properly, seems too short, but I may not have the radiator installed as far back as it should be. I think it looks better without the hood anyway. The instructions called for gluing all the interior pieces and the fender wells together as one unit and then install into the body. I found that didn't work too well and added the fender wells and interior panels after installing it in the body. Worked out better that way. All comments welcome and thanks for looking.
  23. That is real nice Michelle. Love the paint.
