Thanks. Got a blue theme going, here's the body, Wicked Opaque Daylight Blue. I'll give it a couple of days and shoot some Revive It gloss on it.

Nice playing, sounds great. I play a little. Mostly Southern Rock and Blues. I have a Fender Strat, Epiphone Les Paul and a Takamine acoustic. I sold most of my amps and just use a multi effects/amp modeler board now. My favorite band is the Allman Brothers, I like trying to learn some of their songs, not making much progress. My wife says I can't play a thing, but I sure make it sound good.

Any other old greybeards like me like to play Forza Horizon on xbox? I like going to the auto show and buying those nice cars, then drive them around the map.

Slow progress, been busy with other things. But almost finished with the engine, body is primed and I hope to get the paint on it today.

Thanks. Thank you. Thanks. Thanks.

Looks good. I like the color.

Yea, that's looking sweet.

Just saw your 2nd update video, good info there. I have the 66 Nova Pro Street, but hadn't thought about using the frame from it. I'll check that out, looks like it would do ok. I may run the hood scoop on mine with open carbs. I also want to use the roll cage from the Chevelle, but not sure how much work it will be to make it fit.

I haven't decided on a color yet, just trying to gather up some parts right now. Been piddling around with it, seeing what will need to be done. Looks like the 55 interior may need some modification, I like the Chevelle's minimal interior, may go with it. It will be a while before I get started on it, I want to finish that Foose Impala first. Looking forward to seeing yours, maybe get some ideas. Saw your video, nice work with that.

It looks like a nice kit. I'll build the Foose version, except for changing the body color. I've got a Wicked Opaque blue I want to try.

I think it will be fun. I noticed all the detail. Looks nice.

Yes they did. My first car was a 66 Impala SS 396.

I've decided on a 396 chevy engine for mine and am waiting on one I ordered from ebay. Have you decided on a color for yours?

Thanks. Thanks Mike. Thanks Bob. I kinda rushed through it and didn't update my WIP very often. I like the coupes too, but they are more finicky to build than the high boy version IMO.

Things didn't go too good with this kit, fenders, body, hood didn't fit right. Had a heck of a time with the headlights and bumpers. Who cares, it is what it is. Comments welcome.

Do you want the treaded tires or slicks? I have a set of white letter slicks that are 2 piece units you can have. Don't know if they will work for your application, they came from a Ford modified series kit.

Looking good Bob. I did a mock up just a few weeks ago planning the same thing with the extra 55 I've got. The Chevelle frame fits in good with just a little modification. My problem is I've already used the Chevelle engine in my pro street truck I did and I don't have another Chevy engine. I'm thinking of making the bow tie fans cringe and put in a Hemi engine I've got laying around.
