Aww man I hate that, it was looking so good. I got my other chevelle donor kit today so I hope to get more done on mine this weekend. I am going with no chrome at all on mine, I don't enough BMF to do it all anyway and I'm too shaky to try using a sharpie.
I did a trial fit also and there was a considerable gap between the body and the back deck of the interior. I think I can fix it with some shims. But I didn't have the dash or the glass installed, so that may make a difference. Right now I'm thinking of going with the 55 firewall as it is only a small piece anyway.
Made a trip to HL yesterday for the 40% off sale. I needed another 67 Chevelle Pro Street for the 55 build, but they didn't have one. So I found one on ebay and ordered it. I did pick up another Revell 29 Ford Roadster, it's a great kit and I want to build another one. The first one I went with the high boy, this one I'll do the channeled version with the tri-carb engine.
Thanks Bob. Yea, I've got 2 acres with 7 pecan trees, 4 pine, and a giant oak. We had some high winds with some storms that moved through and I had limbs and debris to clean up. Grass and weeds have started growing, and I need to mow.
Been busy the last few days cleaning up my property getting it ready for mowing season, and getting my vegetable garden planted. But got to the bench a little while this morning. Going with flat black on the hood and bumpers. Also on the chassis components. Haven't decided on the interior yet, but may go black with it also. Still need to get another Chevelle donor kit.
My HL didn't have the Autoborne sealers, I got them from embellishFX.com, they are located in Florida and have fast shipping to me here in South Georgia. I also use the Createx 4011 thinner from HL.
