  1. Nicely done. The wrinkled front fender is a nice touch.
  2. You captured the era perfectly. I especially like the tonneau cover and interior.
  3. Hi Rusty. Glad you liked it. Thanks for following along and commenting. I appreciate the feedback.
  4. Thanks to all of you who have reacted to this thread. I really appreciate all the interest that you have shown for this project.
  5. Thanks for noticing some of the extra stuff I did on this one. Glad you like it.
  6. Thanks for the feedback Scott. Glad you like it. It was a fun one to throw together.
  7. Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like it. This was one of those builds where it all just kind of fell together.
  8. thanks for the feedback. I checked out your Fotki link. Nice collection of cars and trucks.
  9. Thanks for the feedback. Wasn't sure about the back window but I have gotten a lot of positive feedback about it. The back window dictated the size of the cab because I wanted the Foose FD100 window frame to fit into the body with no modification so I could use the kit supplied window piece.
  10. Thanks for commenting. Glad you like it.
  11. Thanks for your feedback. glad you like it. Wasn't sure if the big back window was a good idea but I have gotten positive feedback about it. BTW I may be going to a model show in Grimes on August 19th. I think it is about halfway between you and me.
  12. Glad you like it. I agree, Henry should have offered one.
  13. There are more pics in "under glass, pickups vans, 48 Ford Ranchero "
  14. Thanks. I am on to another project.
  15. Revell 50 ford with testors 48 Ford front end. Body stretched 3 inches, box shortened 3 inches. Foose fd100 frame and motor, scratch built front and rear suspension.
  16. Hi Francis. I hope the other things in your life are working themselves out. Beautiful work on the doors. The window post that is "not in the correct position" according to you is not noticeable to the rest of us. However to make it get closer to the rest of the window trim it may need to be thinner. You may consider cutting about a .1 mm groove into a .15 mm piece of plastic and gluing a small stiff wire into the groove to give the plastic some strength (I use piano wire for this) and then narrowing the piece of plastic to the width you need for the post. This is a technique I use around delicate window sections of doors I cut open so that everything stays in place during the build and painting process.
  17. For those of you following along, it is finished! I will see you in Salt Lake and then post some pics in the "finished pickups" section when I return from Salt Lake. BTW I have really appreciated all the comments posted to this thread. They kept me motivated to get it done. Ron B.
  18. Looks good. I like the dimensions of the box and your wheel/tire selection.
  19. Nice weathering, and the chains and interior all look really nice.
  20. Hi Scott. thanks for the compliment. Revell did a really nice job with this motor. The Roush decals are very well done.
  21. I think you are correct about my issue. I need to be more careful. BTW, thanks for responding and I am glad you like the details I have added.
  22. Motor is about done. Having some paint compatibility issues I have never experienced before. I have always used duplicolor clear over duplicolor paint with no issues. This week I am seeing random crackling issues. Hopefully I can get things fixed.
  23. All the curves work well together, the running boards, bed sides, fenders and the shape of the boom.
  24. LIke the belt line detail and how the whole truck fits together so cleanly.
