  1. That gives an error. Add them directly to your post.
  2. Your pics aren’t loading
  3. That was the first kit I bought when I got into the hobby. I’ve yet to build it though, because I told myself once my skills get better I’ll touch it. I got about 30 kits that I simply won’t touch until than lol.
  4. If you’re having trouble getting parts to fit with one coat paint? Then I’d dare say you missed one of the most important steps in the hobby, and even instructions will tell you this. ALWAYS test fit parts before you prime or paint. Could be something needs cleaning I.e mold lines, flash, pin marks protruding a little. One coat of paint shouldn’t prevent parts fitting properly- unless it’s too thick or just bad fitting parts if it isn’t flash etc. Also grey primer is your friend to show all imperfections etc on the part. Doesn’t take much to show, and allows you to double check your clean up work.
  5. This is what you’re looking for. Good place too. I’ve ordered lot of stuff from them. https://www.usagundamstore.com/pages/search-results-page?q=mr color spray
  6. Cool method, but I’ll stick with straws. Just think if that pipette “pops” off lol. Straw method with little tape at the end, and you’re good to go.
  7. My friend she got me this for my birthday.
  8. You got the new improved? Did you order directly from them or from other online sites? Id order directly from them so you’d get the new stuff, because other online sources probably still have old stock.
  9. Good tip. I actually thought about this before as I have ton of different size Ferrules for car audio- just never thought it through.
  10. Definitely good on the brain. Really keeps your mind centered and focused. Lego also is good as well, and it’s amazing some of the work both model kit, and Lego that folks scratch build. I started in the hobby late as I turn 34 in two days, and only been in the hobby bout two years or so. I’m hoping my son who’s 4 years old gets into the hobby when he gets older. Right now he loves taking things apart, and putting it back together no matter what it is. He will ask for a screwdriver faster than he will a juice bottle lol.
  11. Never seen this style paint job on a car, but you did great my guy. Hats ? off to ya. I use Alclad black gloss base the one that a lot of people think is a primer lol. I dry it in the dehydrator @ 110f. But I’ve seen folks mention it before where you spray the chrome few mins after the gloss black base instead of waiting for the black base to fully cure, and then spraying the chrome on top. It’s a technique wet on wet or something like that I’ve read about some painters do with top coat and clear coat.
  12. Never used it as a mask as I use Tamiya tape for that. But to remove the residue I use this product, and works perfect on clear parts as well to remove residue. This one bottle will last a life time lol.
  13. I’ve been to a goodwill store before, and never found any kits. Been too few thrift stores, but won’t ever go back - because they stunk, and everything looked like trash. I was telling myself who in the world is buying this trash?
  14. That could work too didn’t think of that
  15. Sweet! thank you gentlemen for helping.
  16. Must of had some of the old stuff. They got the hood stuff back new improved chrome, and it work’s fantastic. Great to work with ??
  17. Sorry forgot to post the pic. Okay thank you.
  18. Sounds reasonable, but how would I attach it to this part in the pic? Drill hole same size at the back of the rod or cut off the wheel back attachment part, and just glue it on?
  19. I’ll be doing the Foose 65 Chevy impala for a friend eventually, and she wants aftermarket rims instead of the Foose versions. These are the rims & tires and specs. Not sure how big the rims and tires are that came with the Foose kit as my caliper broke. These Pegasus wheels use the metal bar as an insert and the Foose version isn’t set up for that. So how would I use the custom inner wheel part from the kit with the Pegasus wheels? First time doing something like this. I think the Pegasus set would fit with no clearance issues, just not sure how to install them. Should I get these as well to go with them? The rims are T23’s Inner Diameter: 18mm Outer Diameter: 26mm Width: 11mm
  20. Going basic on this one no scribed panels etc. But got one side foiled so far.
  21. Well that clear is a soft clear as it’s not 2K. So you have to be careful, and use around 2-3K RPMs. I use these for polishing clear, the attachment part in the pic isn’t showing the 1/8 shank you’ll need for it to work with a dremel. Black pads can be use for wax as the black pads have no cut, and yellow is medium cut, and orange course cut. I use meguiers cleaner wax & ultimate compound for 2K.
  22. Never owned a ninja foodie, but have owned their coffee makers. It’ll probably work just fine since it has that feature, but you use it for food etc? I’d def consider getting a separate one. But I bake my paint at 110f and never have had an issue, and I’ve done 120f before and never had an issue. I can cure 2K clear in bout 4 hours. One I own is called Klarstein off Amazon, and can usually be got for around $80+.
  23. I love Tamiya paints, but very seldom use there colors on car bodies. I use there semi-gloss black a ton as it’s the best I’ve seen, and there metallics are nice too all from the LP line. Slowly getting rid of the X line up.
  24. MCW is an automotive paint, and Tamiya TS & LP is not. Yes both lacquer, but different techniques use to spray both. Not saying you don’t know what you’re doing as I had issues with one of there interior colors. Could be a bad batch? Did you test it again on a test piece or spoon to see if same thing would happen? I know MCW uses low quality thinner too, but I think you should try first couple mist coats, and do the rest light wet coats. Did your order come with instructions?
  25. This came in today for the Kenworth W-900. Gonna use these on the new dump truck.
