Geez, that's one beautiful model. Crisp and clean details all wrapped in a beautiful white body. Indeed a great job.

Great looking build in only 24 hrs. I takes me 24hrs just to decide what to build next. That's a very clean build.?

Well done. Great mods on a classic.

Great job on the Charger Mike. The interior and engine details are super nice.

that turned out really good . Great color and finish. Not an easy kit but you turned it into a beautiful model.

Thanks Mike , really appreciated.

Nice work on the aging and weathering. Sweet build.

Awesome body work . Great attention to details. Thanks for sharing.

That's a nice build. I like these old Vegas . Perfect for my avatar name. Makes me " happy Grumpy " ?

Really nice rendition of the Impala. Revell did drop the ball on the tail lights. Otherwise a really nice kit to build , those tail lights are not on par with the rest of the kit.

Super nice and clean. Great detailing on the engine and underside.

Thanks Steve. The interior color is a mix of light blue and gray green XF-23 and XF 76.

Sweet looking rod, nicely detailed and lights as a bonus. Love it.

Carl, I'm so sorry to hear about your predicament. As others have stated, you can count me as a friend who cares . I always appreciated your encouragement and comments. Unfortunately we are all aging , some have a more difficult time than others and it's heart breaking. I see my 94 year old mother pinned to a wheel chair slowly withering away and the only solace I get is that she is still perfectly aware and lucid. Hang in there buddy, although far away, my thoughts and best wishes. Whatever happens, no matter how powerless we might feel, we will keep you close to our hearts. Take care.

Yet, it looks pretty good from here. Regardless of manufacturer, some kit can be a real challenge , I have had kits that fought me all the way to the end, some was my fault but some have you scratch your head wondering " what the heck were they thinking ? ". In the end , your model looks really cool. I really enjoyed driving that car in TDU, the sound was awesome.

Thanks Mike. Thanks James Thanks Harry. I know that there are 2 different clear, one is water base the other is lacquer. I might try Tamiya clear over Alclad. I don't have that problem with any other paint. Thanks Ray Thanks Michelle Thanks Helmut. It does indeed. Alclad is the only paint that gives me that problem. Their metal finish is fine , only the clear color , which are enamel seem to be problematic even after being cleared. But they give a really nice finish. Thanks Bob. Thanks Mathias Thanks Lee Thanks Eric . Revell produces some really nice kits, some not so nice but it is true for all manufacturers. I really like this one, the build went without any issue and turned out ok. Thanks Graig. Agreed, I had this color for some time but could not really decide on which car to paint it, then I bought this kit and thought it would look nice on it. glad you like it too. Thanks Jeremy. Thanks Tony Thanks Bob. Thanks David. Normally with any other paint I use, mainly Tamiya lacquer ,acrylic or clear, it is not an issue. Alclad transparent paint is enamel base and even when coated with their clear coat it draws dust like crazy and my place is never under 40% humidity. The metal finish does not have that problem. I use a tack cloth before I photograph but even with that some dust finds its way anyway. Once in the cabinet it doesn't happen much. Thanks Ken. All of my backgrounds are scratch built save for the outside photos I take in the summer. This one was done with pink Styrofoam and evergreen styrene. The dumpster is also scratch built. I am currently working on a European style background for our friends across the pond.

Built last year. No build issues, This was my second try at Alclad candy paint. Silver base and top emerald green coat. Clear coated with their gloss coat lacquer. The only thing is that this paint seems to be a dust magnet, no matter how I cleaned it, dust stick right back to it before I can take a picture. Overall I satisfied with it. Thanks for your time to have a look.
