Turned out great, I like the color. the Revell kit is one of their best and being a Mopar fan, I could build 50 of those. I already have 6 built.

Great idea for a conversion. First time I see this and I like it. -
That's a sweet looking T Steve. I like the white tires. It's nice from time to time to get out of our comfort zone. Glad you shared this one.

Another kit I build years ago that got lost when we had to sell the house. I bought the new re-issue and built it straight from the box. Paint is a custom mix of Tamiya acrylics top coated with TS 13. When I was about 10 years old. A neighbor had a 49 ford that looked pretty much like this. Of course it was a bit worn down and the color was faded but it was close to this. This particular build brings good memories of that time. This guy was so funny he made us laugh and took us for rides. As always, thanks for looking.

Galaxy 1948 Chevy panel truck
happy grumpy replied to Mike C's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
That's one sleek looking panel Mike. I really love those fat fenders. I often go to you tube and watch those old restored and colorized films showing old footage of cars rolling down the streets. Nostalgic yes but it makes me feel good seeing those old fat fenders.? -

Really nice job on a classic truck and classic model kit. The paint job really makes it shine. ? -
Thanks Claude. It's a good feeling when one revisits a kit years after and builds it the way one envisioned it.

Beautiful model, nice and clean showroom look.

Great super bee. Great mean looking color and I like the no hub caps wheel with red line tires.

Crazy cool, brought a smile to my face.
-
Very nice looking build, out, in and under. ?

The kit maybe old but you did a superb job on it. Making all the roof parts fit together must have been some work. I wish I could get my hands on one.

She is a beauty. Those old monogram kits were really good, I wish they would still be available. I wonder if they still have the molds.

Tamiya 2017 Ford Mustang GT4
happy grumpy replied to Jim B's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
Great looking Mustang. As complex as they might be, Tamiya kits are a joy to build. You did a great job on this kit . It' nice to see it as it appears on the box.
