Great looking build. Great color too. Fine detail trim in the interior. Nice work.

Another nice kit from Revell. No fit issues and fairly well detailed offering, I don't know much about accuracy but it looks ok to me. Straight from the box. Tamiya platinum gold for the body. Tamiya gold for the interior. I really like the chevy's from that decade, 1966 being my favorite model year. Thanks for looking.

Welcome back Hans.

Now that's original and clever Steve. I remember doing this to wwII mustangs and spitfires to spin the propeller. Now you'll need to make sound to go with that engine.?

Great looking monaco. Beautiful finish .Congrats on the award.

Great looking rod. Good job. -
Looks pretty good from here, and I agree. Old AMT's instructions are more like suggestions. Still , I'm glad we still have access to those old kits from yesteryear. Great build nonetheless. I like the livery.

Excellent work Bruce, this kit does not pop up often in here. A fine kit from Tamiya.

Gorgeous in this color, the black one looks pretty cool too. Great job on both.

That's a nice build Jeremy, I've always enjoy those old monogram kits. They might not have been perfect, but they were a joy to build.

Absolutely awesome. It looks so real. I dig it.

Welcome to the forum Steve. Nice to have you on board. -
That turned out quite nice. The metallic green makes it pop. Nice work, resin can be a challenge.

Nice variation of the merc. Beautiful finish.

That's a great looking one Steve. I like weathering in all shape or form. This one is way cool. Great job sir.

Thanks Sonny, would have been much easier if not for the warpage but I'm glad it's done. Thanks Chris Merci Claude, I looked at the "whathehay" custom and that's definitely not a project I would even consider doing but knowing your work and skill set, I'd say if anyone around here is capable of pulling this off, it's definitely you. I bought this kit a few years back on Ebay from a french vendor it cost me $40.00 plus 17.00 shipping. Don't know if it's still available, everything has gone up. Cheers ! Thanks Joe. Thanks Phil, if your kit has no warpage, then you should be good to go, old heller kits had a weird building sequence and the assembly instructions remind me of some AMT kits but overall it builds into a beautiful model. Thanks Gary, as far as French cars, Heller is pretty much it Ebro does some but they are real pricy and rare. Newer Heller kits though are a different story, they are much on par with modern kits color instructions and really good engineering. Thanks Ray, Thank you Al Thanks Helmut, these cars were about design and elegance. The 135 is a good example. Thanks Tom. Thanks Rich, when i found out about the warpage, i close the box and opened after almost 2 years, but once I started I did not want to stop for fear of never finish it. Glad I stuck to it.

That must be the finest build of that kit that I have seen so far. The color is amazing. Thanks for sharing this Greg. -
Amazing job and a very nice movie themed collection.

Very cool wagon and a nice background.

Older Hell-er kits have a well deserved reputation as being unorthodox in their design and subject mater. This one had me pulled a few hair of an increasingly sparse hair scape. But this is such a beautiful car, and being a fat fender lover, I had to build one. Much to my dismay, the body and frame were badly warped so I had to try fix it the best I could but it's still apparent so I chose angles make it less obvious. Not an easy kit but glad it turned out kind of ok. Paint is Tamiya brilliant blue and french blue to approximate the box art. I did not have a lighter blue, french blue seemed right for a french car.? As always , thanks for looking.
